Mate you've just earned a new sub. You've made me want to purchase Rugby 22 and play as my home country team (New Zealand) haha! It would be a battle between my older brother and I when playing as The Wallabies and The All Blacks haha!

There is Rory, I just tend to prefer playing side on as a personal preference, I did a stream last week which is on the channel that breaks down most areas of the game if you want a deeper look, or a video about the "team roster and menu options" which specifically goes through all the options in the game which may help with specific game questions you may have.
That game is very realistic - Beaudy misses an easy conversion & Reiko bombs a try - just like real life! The ABs are frustrating the hell out of us here in NZ atm.
Hi MaD DRgon , I have been playing rugby 22 on the ps5 and tying to do the sidesteps and other moves on the left stick as it says on the game. Do you know what direction I to push the LS to perform the moves ?
Yeah Creolehuman, so on the Xbox its the right analogue stick that is involved with sidesteps, so I would check your settings to see if its different on the PS5, basically there's 4 moves you can do, if you point the stick towards the opponents you will do a hand off, if you push the stick upwards you do a sidestep upwards, down is a sidestep downwards, and moving it away from the opposition is a dummy pass, but find this one rarely works, you can also spin the stick in a full 360 circle, and the player will do a spin but again very difficult to not get tackled, it's all about timing and distance from opponent when moving the stick, I also play on the TV camera, may be different positions for different moves if you play with the camera behind the players. Hope this helped.

Thanks Michael, footage in the video came from an Xbox One X, I thought it would be the best representation of the game, as a lot of people probably have this generation of console, rather than next gen or a £3000 PC, so hopefully this gameplay reflects better what other people can expect when buying the game themselves.
I agree with you on the price point Ga Wa, I was personally annoyed that I pre-ordered the game on xbox, and then on the day of release it was £10 cheaper immediately on Steam, if it can be picked up cheaply I recommend it to people, but £50 is a lot to ask for a game that still has some issues.
Yeah Emile, you have to work on the timing a bit but you can do, you can also do a switch pass by passing RB and LB straight away after each other and create your own loop to find gaps in the defence, but comes with some practice.
I played the game on xbox one ans I got some textures problems and also some heads looks smaller like in Men in Black aliens. Did you experience the same ?
I can't say I've experienced any major texture issues, game is running pretty well, the biggest thing I'm noticing is that for some reason as the game is playing it seems to be playing a frame behind, so everything is very faintly duplicated, not sure if its a bit-rate issue, but it makes the players look blurry, but they aren't blurry, its just the frame before remaining on screen a bit too long.
Did you fix the frame rate drop ? Its annoying how I really want to enjoy the game as everyone do and as I loved rugby 20 but this graphic problem doesn't please me much
@@superbok4517 no he isn’t, check the Toulon squad he’s not in it. Checked the Toulouse squad incase they still had him there for some reason and nope. And South Africa aren’t licensed. He literally isn’t in it

if rugby was made with frostbite engine and what's used for PES. good lord, would it be brilliant.

The tackling is shocking
It's good to have a new rugby game but it lacks depth and longevity imo. Quite expensive for what it is.
