Hey, just wanted to say great reaction and I have a bit of information that may help you. So, when you said, "what is IK?" that is Inverse Kinematics. What that basically means in the context of this game is making sure that when the legs and feet of the tripods step down and touch the ground that there is not only contact with the ground but also pressure applied as the tripod puts weight on that foot. Getting the desired positioning of the leg motions and placement to the world makes the tripods that much more grounded and lifelike in the environment. It is also funny that you mention the British voice actor because he has an actual TH-cam channel. it is called "Kit." Great content creator if you want to keep up to date on information regarding this game or other War of the World adaptations and even other games alike. He is actually British and from the UK so he not just imitating the acting just for show. XD He even said himself that it sounds weird compared to everyone else because there was an echoing in his room at the time of recording, but he is still happy to be in the game regardless.
Hey Krypt here from your twitch channel...didn't know you had another youtube channel! The sounds in this game are great, builds a lot of tension while hiding in the houses. I really hope they put some work into textures, reflections etc. Lighting can be as important as sound for building atmosphere...also the hazy look for daylight is much better, it should be smoky, the world has been burning for weeks! Makes it more oppressive and mysterious.

I think maybe he meant that the alternative model is not the replica to the movie, just in case the replica model becomes a case for a possible lawsuit or cease and assist case.

Ya the leg animations do seem a bit janky, but he completely rebuild the tripod animations so it will likely be better in the next update.
