I need more information. Where did you find the forum about the slotted popit? Whats the deal with the nut for the water line. This was very basic of what you did but not why. I want to try it but not enough information. I dont have an optimax i have a 01 efi 200 but its very similar

Hey i got the same problem but I knows the one of my pressure sensor is not connected and I don’t know where it connect to. ( is a hose the goes ) the other one is conected.
One of your temp sensors goes to your gauge at the helm, the other goes to a detonation box. I believe it’s starboard side does your temp warning and your port is your gauge sender. (On my engine the port sensor is hooked up to a black detonation box with 3 wires. If the engine temp gets over 210ish it limits rpms) 240 it sets an audible alarm
