Fun fact: Matryoshka dolls are also sometimes called "nesting dolls" (as they nest one into the next). I used to have a collection but got rid of most of them because of moving and fun things like that.
Another member of the elder club here, closing in on 57! :) Your channels are actually super educational, and many of the crafts are not kid-oriented at all, like the resin stuff. Cash or Trash is awesome for crafty parents/grandparents looking where to put their $$. Shame that collecting toys/dolls/figurines (I have all those things, too, and watch cartoons and anime, and read comic books) lumps a channel like this with real kids channels. Fine line between kid-oriented and family friendly, I guess.

I remember when I was a little boy I binged these “fantasy horse creation” videos and the only part I really remember is when they put the horse doll things in the bleach to get them ready for new paint and they had to put rocks on it because they floated. I remember having hundreds of these non-possible horses that my grandfather gave me and making little role-plays alone in my room with them. It was great but I would always laugh when I got the guy horses because they where “realistic”
Jackie I want to let you know you have saved my life. A little over a year ago my best friends mom passed away she was my rock. She passed because of MS and Lupus with other illnesses. I found your channel not long after, I watched your channel every day after that to help me sleep. You deserve so much more recognition than you receive. I regularly make crochet items, including small toys and if you have never done crochet before, starting with a small 3d item is torture on your brain, but your hands as well! If you tackle it, take it slow so you don't strain your hands!
People may say that her channel is for kids, but technically nerdcraafter is directed toward parent and other adults so they know what to buy a child and if its worth it or not.
SOMEONE PLEASE LIKE THIS SO JACKIE CAN SEE THIS! Amigurumis are not recommended for true beginners. You need to learn how to make a scarf before you go onto something like the dragon. Please practice prior to crocheting the dragon.

As Canis above said, the kits usually explanies the basics pretty good and there are also plenty of videos online to check out too 😊 I'm waiting eagerly for Jackie to review this kit, as I am a crocheter myself, and I hope she'll find it fun and rewarding 😁
I dunno, I started crocheting with Amigurumi as I had no interest in scarfs. I didn't even use an easy kit. I just found a pattern I liked and the used TH-cam to teach me all the stiches as a I went.
The German kits look like decent quality, though hard to tell unless you try them first. I'll look forward to watching those! Age range, uhh... I'll be 36 in a few weeks.
After I found this channel, I went to red lobster and there was salt there I took the salt shaker and sprinkled SALT ON MEH HANF AND LICKING IT OFF MEH HAND!
