It’s races at tracks like this I always share with my friends over seas cuz it takes a whole different animal to tame these wild bikes on a circuit like this. Gotta love it 🇺🇸 MotoAmerica.

The field is just now stacking up to be a real superbike racing series in my OP. Past two years have been not so exciting now were playing with money boys . All good guys are back what we the people want more action more excitment letsgooooo
It seemed that way, but the split times showed he gained a half second there. Looks can be deceiving. He might have slowed up coming out of it, but gained time overall by rolling into the chicane faster. Either way, the rules are the rules.

What a beautiful facility at pitt it's been so long that I have been to see a race live . I hope to go to New Jersey this year. Moto America doing a fine job this year the racing has been just awesome 😎🎉
What a stupid ruling on the 1.5 second penalty on Fong, Moto America. There was absolutely zero advantage gained. Stupid rules like this are destroying racing...

The fact that Beubier danced around and didn't answer the question about his slow down at the end makes me think it's something personal. Maybe a body injury? God forbid lingering headaches or something of the sort because of his concussion.
Nice save Bobby! Reminds me of hitting the throttle on an icy night leaving my overnight job for lunch on my z1000. Yeah I was crazy back then. And I hit it and the thing stepped all the way sideways, I pointed towards the curb, shut the throttle and just steered it back like I meant to do it.
Recently the you tube algorithm fed me a Valentino Rossi docu which sparked an interest in superbike racing. I researched what I was watching for about 2 days trying to gain an understanding of all things motorcycle racing or MOTOGP. I came away with a few conclusions. 1. These cats are extreme atheletes. The shape they have to be in to do this is crazy. 2. The evolution of this sport is incredibly interesting. 3. The rivalries are better than anything NASCAR has. And lastly, the racing scene, its divisions, teams, series is very complex (superbike motoamerica motogp etc) . I really am starting to enjoy.... edit: it all. One thing I noticed while watching this race was that these bikes are constantly wobbling. Does anyone know if this is a result of suspension vs the track or the rider having too much throttle? Why does it look as if the bike is always about to lose its rear end?
There shouldn't be a time penalty if the rider didn't gain position. What if a rider was too deep into the corner after a straightaway and blew through the following chicane, returning onto the track in the same or lesser position, there was no gain for the rider, so why add a penalty. The ryder should be informed of the time penalty so he can try and maintain that time difference to secure his current position.
These commentators don't get enough credit, they always catch small details like riders struggling with grip in certain corners and so on. I really think they are far better than the official MotoGP commentators.
On Bobby Fong and curbs FIM gives 1 warning for exceeding track limits Under the circumstances no one got bumped or fell And Cameron went straight past anyway Tough call

There should only be a penalty if jumping the chicane is seen to be intentional... There was no advantage gained and it was the only time. These guys are putting it all on the line Perhaps they should be penalized grid position on the next race. Personally, I am not a big fan of using chicanes to control speed into the next corner or complex. The track should be narrowed forcing a reduction in speed or some kind or a signal forcing the engine off peak revs using electronic signals if the desired safe speed is not achieved. Definitely a rider's circuit and it's great to know what tires each team has choose. I would love to see Jake in BSB or WSB while he is still in his prime, and on a Yamaha..

Bobier cheating with those front winglets! Generate much more downforce. While others don´t have them, should be banned. Still shameful for Bobier not being able to beat Gagne with no winglets. This aero is one huge ugly sh.t. MotoGP started with that and the number of overtakes has dropped massively. Just like f1 where they came up with extreme aero which led to absurd need of DRS for artificial overtaking. Nonsense!!!
They could have popped over to him for a second a little more often, sure, but no one would watch a “race” with Gagne vs. nobody, which is what it would have been the entire time.

Great race. I can’t say I agree with Bobby’s penalty when he lost all drive and got passed right after. Huge save from him too. Proper drift skills.

I disagree. He could have taken out Scholtz with that move if he lost even more control. Stupid move on his part. Deserved a penalty.
