Hiya Scott greatct9 see old rusty back on the road and the monster tow truck I bet it got a few looking at it ,keep up the great work ,hope you andcthe family a great Christmas Darren
Hi Darren, thanks. My good old rusty, the most bog standard piece of junk in my collection, it's got rotten suspensions broken parts and I absolutely love it, it's so full of character 🙂 I took the wrecker yo get some advice off piggy taylor as to what I should use in the booms, it also gave me an idea of the turning radius in places and Leyland is probably the most forgiving due to not having scale roadways so I plan on swapping the rear drive for a rear steer or possibly a lesu steer driven axle 🙂
@scotty555babe Piggy taylor should have some good ideas how to do the booms ,it's the one thing I got really stuck on how to do it ,I was looking at doing full hydrolics on both booms but the cost was through the roof ,I'm sure you will be to sort and as for the turning radius it is rather large that's why I was going to do 10x10x10 wheel drive and steering
