Hey Bill, Enjoyed the ride - 5323 is my birthdate locomotive - anyone who has an important date that can be shown with four digits can be amused finding images with their number
For your first pacing video you did a real fine job. You'll get better with more attempts. Looking forward to seeing more pace videos. Perhaps you'll become known as the "pace meister". Keep up the good work. I always enjoy watching.
@cnwlover That was probably beginner's luck, but I'll try it again some time. I was looking at the sun position around June 20 and I might be able to shoot one with the early morning sun on the road side of the tracks. Thanks for watching. Bill
Another thought, at least for camera mounting, is available at most good sporting goods stores. A window mount for spotting scopes has the same threaded screw as do most cameras. Then just mount the camera on the half down side window top. The only concern with this I would have is wind noise as one is driving along. Perhaps this is solvable (the possible wind noise ) by trial and error. A very nice pacing video!
@ozzyo1970 I'd like to. Although certain things have to come together. An eastbound train. Cloudy skies to block that camera facing sun. And I need the time to get to the spot. But, I'll try to do more occasionally now that I've shot one. Thanks for watching. Bill

IDK what it is but that is the best K3LA I have Ever heard
Might be because of the lack of Doppler effect. Thanks.
Bill
Very good Bill! Would like to see some more of these from you! Excellent, keep up the good work. 5 Stars.
Thanks. I haven't shot a pacing video in a while. Need to try a few again.

@BNSF9250 Thanks for the encouragement.
Bill
@TheMadNorsky That's an interesting idea. If I was planning on doing a bunch of them I'd make an investment in a mount. Thanks for watching.
Bill
I liked watching the movement of the suspension.
@Postal67 That sounds like a neat location. Thanks for watching.
