Oddly enough it is very relaxing. I think my favorite part is the little salute at 4:36.. freaking adorable, Charlie.

So when you scan the item does it tell you where to take it in the warehouse or how do you know😅

Yes. It gives me a location on the computer. If no location exists, I make one.

@lemonsniffer cool I'm starting a forklift warehouse job and they said I'd be scanning the items and moving them from the machine to around the warehouse so I'm gonna guess it's gonna be like this I've never drove a forklift any tips for the job?

@@zmedusa7 Keep your head on a swivel. Be the safest person on the floor. There's no hurry. Slow is smooth, and smooth is fast. Brake and accelerate in a straight line only, not while turning. Keep your forks as low as possible without dragging the floor at all times. If you have an expensive items on your forks, go extremely slow. Forklift center of gravity is weird; These things like to get on two wheels easily. Wear all required PPE. Wear Hi-Vis. Honk a lot at every corner. People and other forklifts will pop out from behind cover at anytime. My coworkers are bad about honking and they just fly out there blindly. If you think you're honking too much, you still aren't honking enough. When backing up, turn around in you seat and look, don't rely only on your mirrors. Accidents cost everyone time, and it's a pain in the ass. Really, really try to avoid hitting anything. Eventually you'll know exactly what the limits of the forklift are and you will stay on that edge. They can turn in a very tight circle. Get a bluetooth speaker. I recommend the JBL FLIP or JBL Charge. Most of all, relax. It can be a really fun job.

Hate the knob on the wheel 💯 Why do you keep shifting your forks up n down every sec?

      Good question.
We have to keep our forks a certain height off the floor. Or we get chastised for it, per OSHA. It's a nervous tick now. I cant see the forks from where I'm sitting on the Hyster 35's as well as I can the Hyster 50's. I go to where I can hear it click on the floor then raise it up a couple inches. Sometimes I forget if I've done it so I do it over and over. I kinda do the same thing on my motorcycle with the turn-signal. I keep clicking the switch to make sure I've turned my signal off again after turning.
