    Nice painting but your go-pro style camera made me dizzy🤢

      Dear Kathy :) thanks for your comment and sorry for dizzy effect. It was my first trial of fixing usual Sony camera on my chest with self made fastener. I already noticed that it is not convinient for viewers and I already fixed the camera on the wall just right above the table. So my next videos in my work place are more "calm". But I found out that my chest camera hanger is useful for small formats of drawing and only for the case, when my body is fixed as well. So I'm about to try it plain air for urban sketching. Thanks again and Good luck!

    Nice work. For the dizzy people, you can change the speed using the settings (that little gear in the right lower corner).

    Listing your colors would be really helpful. What were they? Awesome final result, but ditto on all the comments regarding filming.

    • @vanyaprokopenko2391
      @vanyaprokopenko2391  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey, CC! Thanks for your comment! Colors are not important because each wood is of different color. In this case was ochras and mixed browns for blurry background. Then adding some darkers mixes for wooden ornamant. Then clear sepia for extreme darker details. Good luck CC! Send me some pictures of result! Everybody is going in about the cam (i like how it shows that he s moving around) but i m like dude.... How can you draw in such a messy place with all the stuff on the the table😂

    • @vanyaprokopenko2391
      @vanyaprokopenko2391  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for kind words, Elena) Artistic thing is that I never know what wave will be next. Will I paint, or will I draw or will I play the game, or work on tablet. All must be at hand and ready for use) For look is messy, for me all at hand) Anyway it is very old video clip and now all is organized other way. I have separate PC table for tablet drawing and other computer work. And "analog" table near window for painting and other crafts. Good luck and thanks again!

    Can I do the same techniques but with canvas? I just love your tutorial.

    • @vanyaprokopenko2391
      @vanyaprokopenko2391  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Nina :) You can try. Do you mean watercolor? I heard about watercolor on canvas but never tried it. Main thing is that first layers may not be so soft look. Please, show me result :) Ok?

    • @TheNinawitteveen
      @TheNinawitteveen 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Vanya Prokopenko thank you for your prompt reply, awesome.
      I have acrylic paints but would water them down for the effect. Just wasn't sure if the floor wood turn out similar. You are amazing with the brush and your floor is by far the most realistic I've seen.
      I will experiment and if it turns out i will for sure share.

    • @vanyaprokopenko2391
      @vanyaprokopenko2391  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Nina all will be ok. Just several secrets are in. First layers are smooth and opaque. They are not heavy. On these layers you can many tranparent colors by stripes of diff color on direction of board. Then you add texture step by step from light to dark. The last layers are most detailed. But lines are easy and pricise. The last layer with nails shadows is just sepia or darker. Thin lines. Take attention on the sides of the board to make the volume a bit, not to be totally flat.

    You can get an inexpensive tripod for your camera from Amazon-order it now! I almost vomited from all the movement. Big thumbs down

    • @vanyaprokopenko2391
      @vanyaprokopenko2391  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      All done, Jill. I decided to leave this experimental video here because it shows technics. Usual tripod is not well to fix camera on good height. I've created customized hanger for camera recunstructed from TV wall mount. You can see results in another videos if you wish. Negative reaction is also reaction, so thanks for that.
