- To celebrate the 30th Anniversary of SMB, and the release of Super Mario Maker, I covered the original Overworld theme in the style of future games.
I might make an extended cut later adding more styles.

The one thing I wish Mario Maker had was the ability to use multiple styles in one level. Like half the level use the design of SMB and the other half switches to SMB3

A stand alone SM64 style is almost done, and I have a couple other style covers I want to do before I expand this, adding SMLand, SMSunshine, SMGalexy, ect.
It's all in the works. :P

The Super Mario World style sounded like the theme that played in a Mario Bros flash game I played a while back.
I've arrived too late!! But the way you give the special drums when you use a Yoshi in the SMW theme was amazingly beautiful 😍

Using a emulator, I was able to mute any of the NES's audio tracks. I muted all but 1 track and let the track play while I recorded the audio. I then opened the audio in Audicity and extended the noise in some cases, and pitched it to middle C. I saved the audio sample to a .wav and used FL Studio's Sampler to test it if it sounded right. There is a program you can edit .sf2 files in I use to make a Soundfont file.
I'm going to make a soundfont available soon, I just have some kinks. a SMB1, 2 and Land ones are also in the works.
