    A fantastic breakdown and always insightful seeing what others carry. Good to see you approve of the DD superlight tarp as i'm looking to get that as well as a compact 3 season sleeping bag for this time of year. Appreciate you putting this video together and speak soon my man ~Peace~

      Thanks Zed, Sorry it was late for the competition! I really do like the DD superlight, it can be more prone to wind but just tighten it all up and its perfect.

    Thanks, this was the only review of the Racoon 45 I could find in English. I'm looking for a 45l pack with adjustable back and the option of additional side pockets.
    This looks good. Nice set up.

    What a perfect little knife, and a nice set up. Your gear is well thought out and right on the balance between things you can't be without and things which make life better.

    Your manner as you explain things is like a street seller at the market in some Charles Dickens novel with the flat cap and the way you slap things your talking about ''roll up roll up! all the bargains here ladies and gentlemen'' ;-]

    Very nice. I understand unforeseen circumstances as well. My brother in law and I were both looking at Wisport packs. Unfortunately Mr. iPres decided to go tariff happy, and a bunch of great gear and tools are no longer in or our price range.

      Thanks mate! I'll have to get the craghoppers out of the cupboard and give them another go, I found they wicked moisture up quikcly when in rough terrain, but like you say they do dry fast!

    PS: A 45 litre backpack (plus sidepockets) for a one-night trip? I carry a 25 litre backpack for a 5-day trips in warmer-weather (like the one you had). I mean no criticism, truly. Just find that difference funny. 🙂

    • @PrimalNomad
      @PrimalNomad  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thata a great kit weight & very suitable for warm weather. This is often overkill, usually I carry extra bits to film with too 😂. I've been reducing the size of some bulkier items for this reason too. Appreciate the comment 🙏🔥

    2 years after this video, how do you find the bag? Have you replaced it with a bigger or smaller one?

    • @PrimalNomad
      @PrimalNomad  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I did another review a few months back if you wantes to check that out for a good aftwr use review on the bag. I find it carries all I need and the pockets definately aid. Maybe a bigger one would be a better for long week trips etc. Although I do find what I can carry in this is ample weight already.
      Thanks for watching!

    Good review. Is the Reccoon 45 also suitable for taller people, from 1.92m?

    • @PrimalNomad
      @PrimalNomad  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry for the late reply! I'd say it would be suitable as it has an adjustable back system, if not the 65l may be more suitable.
