Within the past 5 years Tottenham have had several managers, 2 of which were serial winners and they failed to bring stability and a winning mentality to your football club for reasons various. Arteta’s work to date was way more than producing a winning football team, it consisted of him working tirelessly behind the senses to get the engine room of the football club right. Tottenham Hotspur’s off - key mentality saw two great managers leave your football club in disgrace. They were more than capable of doing the job but your clubs mentality failed to match their ambitions. Your current manager is on the cusp of walking away because he’s experienced the woeful mentality of your football club just like the past 2 great managers that you had did. So ever time you lose a manager are you going to keep using the excuse that Arteta’s had 5 years? Robbie is right that Arsenal will be challenging for the league but can Arsenal go another season without the luck of no injuries to key players (EG Saliba, Odegaard, Rice), depleted teams they played (EG Wolves home and away, Liverpool at home, Man City home and away, Man Utd away, Brentford at home etc) and without a winter break? I doubt they will have that in their favour despite them challenging this time. Arsenal will have injuries next season to key players of theirs missing and that in a way, will be a true test to see how good they really are.
