@@lynda46 thank you for that! I'm trying to design a fountain for a Halloween display this year. Thank you for capturing your work and sharing it with us! It's giving me great inspiration 😊❤️

This is great! thanks for the info, the fountains are really nice. If I just wanted to buy one single dimmable pump for using with one of the rotating nozzles you have there what pump do I need to buy?
@puddyman You need to have a pump that: 1) Preferably has the same size outlet as your nozzles inlet. (Using adaptors reduces flow) 2) Has an asynchronous motor (This allows you to vary the speed) I like the Oase Aquarius universal pumps, I do not use anything smaller than the 5000
@@lynda46 Sure you will! I'm trying to do it ALOT cheaper than those pro pumps, I got a large rotating fountain nozzle working using a cheap pump, but the spread was too much, so i've restarted my project by trying to modify a small spinning sprinkler head and using a less powerful pump. I've figured out how to make some LED light strips dance in time to music, i just need to do the same with the small pump - the asynchronous motors are way too expensive, so instead i'm looking at electronically limiting the flow, or combining 2 pumps into one flow and turning them on and off to add pressure to the flow. once i've finished it i'll report back here. its a bit cold in the uk to be messing with fountains at the moment though :D
It's really neat to see each effect individually! We really get an idea of the amount of possible combinations! It's sad that we can't see it perform to a song though..
😀 Thank you. Unlike some musical fountains that just run on lighting software and are not in time with the music, I sit and listen to the music several times before I even start to programme it. I have found that not all music is suitable for fountain choreography, the best music is classical, the music itself has no copyright, but the orchestra/band that are playing it do have a copyright, so if I were to use it and publish it on YT I get a copyright strike, so unless I can find suitable royalty free music................
@@lynda46 Choreographing is a really demanding task.. I can imagine a choreography for most fountains with almost any song (and like you said, a lot of them don't work), even with that it still takes me days to choreograph mine. Does your program have any tools to make your job easier or do you have to make every single effect from scratch?
Wow, that's an amazing combination of colors, like the arrangement of colors from the waltzing water lights.
Waltzing waters (U.K.) closed down in 2017 😔
This is SO freaking cool!!!!! I like the spinny thing 😂 where do I buy this stuff? I'm gonna go watch your other videos.. Amazing work!!
Thank you. BJamesThompson, enjoy. The "spinny" jets are called pirouette nozzles.

@@puddyman They are not cheap, but they are worth it, let me know how you get on.
Guess we will never know how he got on. Sadly, good fountain parts are never cheap.

Every time a create a new track I have to start from scratch.
