I loved my ecovac deebot when I first got it and the first couple years, the suction was alot better than others of its time. but it's bout time to put ol yeller down. it keeps getting random errors and doesn't run like it used to.
Had one, got rid of it, my cat has an unnatural ability to fling cat litter across the room. The litter robot made it worse not better. It would have been great with other cats we've had, just not this one.
Does the water tank continue to drip feed to the pad even when not doing mopping (i.e. gravity fed) like some cheaper robot vacuums or is the pad saturation controlled electronically (like on the Roborock S7)?
Yes, it does. Though this one at least comes with a drip tray that it sits on at the charger. I may have an S7 on the channel soon, I’ve had a lot of people recommend them.
@@DoItYourselfDad no worries. Does that mean I should only put the tank in when I want to immediately do mopping and that I should remove the tank as soon as it's done? I was hoping to schedule mopping to happen in the middle of the night so I'd want to be able to put the tank of water in much earlier and then wouldn't be able to take it out until the morning when I get home. Will this leave me waking up with a huge puddle caused by the Eufy at the docking station?
Free tech tip: if you cannot get connected to your 2.4Ghz wifi, try using a mobile AP (using your phone as router)... My robovac X8 Hybrid does not connect (I don't know why)... But that was my solution
Now what happens if battery goes low during map creation and X8 goes back to charging station and mappinh isnt completed? I dont see rooms divided yet..so annoying..pfft

I havn't played around with the Roborock yet... but I've heard really good things.
