What a movie 🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿. Glenn Ford never disappoints, the GOAT. Great cast, had that 1970s gory realism. Had from the jump to the end. Not all movies end happy.
Oh! Remarkable movie. You will like very aspect of this movie. Loving husband, a loving wife, and their family. Music, singing, acting, technical aspect and what not. An admirable production.
_Santee_ was one of the first independent feature films shot entirely on videotape. The production crew used electronic TV cameras and portable video tape recorders, then had the images transferred to film for theatrical release.
I know one thing for sure you can trust Kennedy he comes from real American heros his family has sacrificed everything for this country his uncle proved their valor in WW2

Jody, in effect, did the same thing as the Sheriff: he killed himself by wasting a full deadly second screaming, "Sam!". When it's time to shoot, shoot! Don't talk. Stupid kid. There they were, two of them against one man, when Sam had killed 5 men single-handedly...sloppy....
Worthwhile story. It always boths me when me, in effect, commit suicide like the retiring Sheriff did, just stepping unarmed into the street to face the six known killers. One of the townsmen did the same by taking no cover at all. It detracts from the sense of compassion when a grown man goes into battle with his thumb in his ass, as it were: "Here I am! Shoot me dead now; I don't much care". OK! Blam!
