Just as I expected in previous video comments… people tend to underestimate LPL a lot.
I saw BLG’s true strength in game 5 against PSG (very one-sided game). Also, BLG approaches with much meticulousness against strong teams like top LCK teams. This is why LPL that had hard time beating minor region teams suddenly giving very hard time for LCK teams in previous MSI tournaments.
I expect BLG to win this MSI. Although Gen.G looks strong compared to T1, they do have ups and downs. I even think TES has chance to take out Gen.G if they meet next time
To be fair, Lpl is often enough overestimated at worlds, I think 2018, 2019 and 2023 were the only times lpl should've been favorite.

I really dislike the lane swap invention, i know this is not the first time that this happens, and there are reasons behind it. But its just harder to admire top and bot laning skills.

I don't play League anymore, but what happened to top lane? Last Worlds it was Jax, Renekton, Aatrox, Rumble and even Gwen or Yone was viable... Now i'm watching basically a K'Sante guarantee every game with useless champs like Zac being prioritized. Is it just pointless to try and carry from top this meta?
It's actually hard to explain in a few words but
1) the state of botlane in pro play has been overly toxic for the past 2 years so teams (it was Nip) have decided to lane swap in order to help their adc reaching power spikes safer
2) people have to pick low ressource high survivability top laners to match the 2v1/3v1 and tanks usually fullfill this role. K'sante is by far the most flexible of the bunch
3) range top is fairly a new approach for their good matchups into tanks and their ability to reach xp/fight on a jungler+support rotation acting as a secondary adc. But my understanding of range tops is still limited. T1 Zeus kinda started the experimentation in lck playoffs but he didn't get ideal results.

It's just that lane swapping allows for Weakside bot laners to avoid getting shit on so they can get a lot of gold plus turret plates are just weaker on top lane so easy gold. Carry top laners don't do well into this strategy as they are super gold reliant and a lot of the time don't have ways to deal with early turret dives. Tanks on the other hand can and don't need to be item reliant to be useful as they will always have loads of CC. As for Zac, he's just one of the best champs to use against K'sante as well as deal with this lane swap strat. Ranged top laners are also viable because they can impact the map way better than an aatrox will ever be able to in the early game.
