Then, growing up, I was listening to 80s pop and then modern rock and later, punk. Then in college, I was exposed to international music (Serge Gainsbourg, Manu Chau, Francoise Hardy, Giorgio Gaber, etc). I started listening to the Osmonds once again in the early 2000s and purchased ALL their CDS. Those are only available in the UK. But I purchased them. All the albums remastered! I am now purchasing their albums on vinyl, once again. Just to relive my youth. There’s nothing like holding the LP in your hands and admiring the artwork, looking at the pictures in the gatefold sleeves. So, here I am. 2021. Enjoying an Osmonds LP spinning on my turntable. Thank you, Osmonds, for all the music and memories. I am proud to have you in my musical library. My favorite songs are: “Sho’ Would Be Nice” off your 1971 LP HOMEMADE. But then reaching my 40's i realised it'll probably never happen. Funny how it's still my dream that someday someone will put things right for God, because God needs our help and He can't do it without us. Now Michael's gone and i know it was his dream too, just like i know it's Donny's and always was. I feel like he could have been one of the great rock & roll voices along with some of the greats. If only he'd made it to that lane imagine some of the great hits we'd be listening to when enjoying classic rock. His voice is good for the pop stuff too.....but that rasp he has in his voice is captivating.
