This music video includes some cool animation and features a song written back in 1977 by Pensacola, FL Singer/Songwriter Mark Gormley. I've always been a fan of Mark's music and I'm proud of this music video as well so that's why I picked it as another Summer Re-Entry.
Just found out Mark Gormley passed away at age 67. Fly away, you legend. We shall remember your little wings in flight.

Mark Gormley uses some really interesting melodic structures in his song writing. It's an eerie blend of folk and 1970's psychedelic rock reminiscent of Simon & Garfunkel covering Led Zeppelin.
It's his own unique brand. I bet he could've got quite the following if he would've found success in those days

This song just fucking owns. I've listened to it maybe 300 times now, in a couple of weeks. I sing it around the house. I can't stop. can those little wings make it? I believe they can after listening this many times. They fucking will make it. This song is about hope - no matter how little your wings are, you can absolutely fly away. Doesn't matter how many people tell you to push harder than you need to, or that it's too cold to fly, you can absolutely fucking do it.
