It was always the wife, and the dog, a standin for the wife. In some way the assholes who killed the dog took on the responsibility for killing his wife.
Clarification. I was referring to something in part 1 (previous video) The point was that Iosef and his goons went after John Wick over a car (see garage scene where John says "She's not for sale") and because he (Iosef) felt disrespected. Many reactors couldn't believe that Iosef and his goons would go after John just because of that little incident at the garage, but it's not far fetched at all if you understand these sort of criminals. I never for a moment thought or said that John Wick went after them over the car. That would be quite moronic. In hindsight, perhaps I should have put that part of the analysis at the end of part 1, I split the videos up post edit and that point ended up at the end of part 2, so I understand the confusion.
The memories he has with his wife in that car the reason he got out of his work then to lose both within a week and then the last gift of his wife all at once. Yeah he was pushed over the line
No, I wasn't talking about the reason John Wick went after the bad guys, (Yes that was because of daisy). I was referring to the reason they broke into his house initially, that was because of the car and because Iosef felt disrespected at the gas station. (See the part 1 video)
@@WeWatchTheWatchersThat's What I find so ironic about that part, losef was never told about John until After He stole the car/injured the puppy. Than in the bath house, when John looks losef straight in the eyes, He's saying Your All mine, but I'll kill you later.
I have a theory about John Wick and water in this movie. He takes the shower before the first men attack, his entrance back into the underworld. Winston warns him against dipping a pinkie in that pond, and every pool of standing water he encounters after that he stays away from. He doesn't get his hand wet in the sink, he doesn't shoot Iosef while he's in the pool. Then at the end he gets caught in the rain again, and after that he's back in the 'real' world.
@WeWatchTheWatchers more a symbol of transition, as rain. You could even take it farther as man-made rain versus natural rain. It's the standing water that was dangerous. In my head-canon of the story John is still out after 1. I would have made a sequel with motivations similar to the first, skirting the edge but never getting sucked back in.
Good reaction, weather it was the matrix or john wick, you can tell how much effort he puts into his armed and unarmed combat training, very few actors do that
@@HarrisMiller-qw6xh Thank you, I agree. Incidentally, I will be doing a couple of British movies in future. Snatch and Lock Stock & 2 Smoking Barrels comes to mind.
Maybe in future. Right now, I'm doing matrix 1 in the new format in two parts with lots of added scenes and new reactors as I have to delete the current matrix one on the channel. After that I'm going to be Keanu'd out for a bit, but I'll get back to him in time, then I'll be happy to take a look at that scene.
If you haven't watched part 1 yet, here you go th-cam.com/video/NrvintL_5Ek/w-d-xo.html
"I like that John didn't even give him a chance to finish that dumb ass senten" hahaha.
The way John looked straight into the sons face as he shot the guy by the pool in the head to finish him off...scary.
Definitely wasn't about the car. The car was a footnote
It was always the wife, and the dog, a standin for the wife. In some way the assholes who killed the dog took on the responsibility for killing his wife.
@AuthorGuy1 absolutely. It's about the wife and what the dog symbolized. To say it was all done because of a car is insane.

Not many notice the collar and bracelet on the bedside table when he picks up the gun
Fortune favors the brave is the motto for second battalion third Marines tattoo on his back. I know this because I was in second battalion 3rd Marines

Now i gotta put in the DVD and watch it again.
He did not do all this because they took the car it was because they killed daisy.

I gotta say it. When the father explained to his son that John Wick was not the Baba Yaga, he is who you call to get rid of the Baba Yaga.

Interesting, so what's the symbolism of the water? Death and rebirth?

That’s a south African accent if I’ve ever heard one.
An Ozzy would know🙂. Welcome to the channel. I watched and liked your short film, good effort on that by the way.
@ thanks. I’m originally South Africa, but have lived in Australia for the last 16 years. Good to see a fellow brother making it.👍
I was just about to say the same thing! 🇬🇧

If you get the chance can you show the chatuex fight from the matrix 2
