I really like the new intro. Short yet covers all the bases. Awesome to see Matt and Jerry show up for a social antics visit. Ya can never have to much clowning around on a Dirt Perfect episode. Keeps us subs coming back for more.
It's amazing how fast Matt got the word how it broke when he was driving....lol. It's a whole different truck that needs a whole different level of engineering but you guy's are the men for the job. Keep up the good work guy's
Wow! Those were some complex angles to get those to work. You and Aaron make for a great work and comedic relief team. Great video. Thank you both DP. 👍
Baby always says the second time is the most exciting and always the best. Don't know about the tag team effort, but good job boys. Everyone satisfied.
Even round duals would have been easier. And that box tubing was massive overkill, very expensive and not the best for flow. But great content I must say.
Mikey… perhaps next time you can just build the exhaust out of old parts from Transformer Action Figures. Then you can put a button in the cab that will fold the stacks out of the way! With Jerry and NYA showing up to bless the design… MBTS has one more layer of insulation from accepting the blame for any mistakes. Niice!
That was a great video, and MBS the welding job you did is amazing. I’m looking forward to seeing the pipes installed. Watching from Perth Western Australia 😁👍👍🇦🇺
Hey Mike, that line “the only person I know that has to use a stepladder for sawhorses “ is a classic. Good thing Aaron has a great sense of humor, you might lose your help.lol Great job.
Great job on laying them back, but I'll say it again, those stacks are made of such heavy guage steel you can afford to delete the headache rack completely and build a custom one between the two uprights for a much cleaner look without comprising the strength and protection.
Great to see all the team together. Year 2023. Need more Jerry , Will Matt get the castle done? Will Dp get to run a 850 this year ? Will Dp White elephant in the room make a showing ? What color will the stacks be, Will Lt Dan get any love ? Will the little school bus make a showing ? What will C+C sell DP for equipment ?? Time will tell. hope 2023 is a great year for all. 🤣🤣
Like a brand new Corvette, put them both, in the center. Just a little more height would work, IF, you have room after loading on the trailer? You don't want to over 13' 6" on the trailer. You can always weld a diversion plate over the top from the welded wire to the exhaust pipe.
What a real shame the 1st set of stacks didn't work, me I would have cut out the bed only because I'm lazy. The final set look brilliant, going to look really cool once they're up and painted. Off course you do know that by the time you've finished doing these repairs, your going to have to get Bubba Dump resprayed, you could have it painted two tone, green and yellow. Nice of Matt and Jerry to turn up, don't forget you also removed the rifle holder for Jerry as well. 👍🤗
Next time you make one of these, can you turn the bottom horizontal pipe at 45 degrees? Then it will be even in width with vertices and dirt will fall off. Just my thoughts. It’s a good thing you have a Professional boiler maker as a friend!
Care in loading trees and brush past the front of the bed lip and you’re good to go! Reminds me of my car-carrier days, always tweaking the rig to haul something it wasn’t meant to.😂👍
DP and half pint sorry mbts you 2 have just .made my week my disabled mum had to go in to hospital after a fall and being her son and only carer I needed the laughs you 2 bring.
Howdy Mr. Dirt, When your 2 supervisors showed up to check the progress - no one said anything about the "new" gas tank! Looking real good! Stay safe. Jim
Hope when loading with soil that none goes down the pipe!!. Could do with a bolt on access panel at the bottom of the stack, just in case. Bet it is going to sound awesome.
If at first you don't succeed, try again. It will look good when done. Cutting the hole for the exhaust pipe may get interesting. Waiting for the next video.
The banter and project itself all made for great viewing guys then had a cameo from Matt and Jerry too, nice one bro. Safe travels. I see C&C is all but 100k subs, be good to see his crew get the silver gong.
I used to wonder why the old single stack was at the center of the cab. Oh - that's the center of the pivot point that remains a constant distance from the bed.
Was a welder before retiring. Used to tell people when asked if I could weld oversized cracks or space that I could weld the crack of dawn if it were in the same room with me.
I really like the new intro.
Short yet covers all the bases.
Awesome to see Matt and Jerry show up for a social antics visit.
Ya can never have to much clowning around on a Dirt Perfect episode.
Keeps us subs coming back for more.
Thanks
Mike you are really lucky to have such a damn great team working for you. Keep up the great work gentleman.
And again the adage "measure twice, cut once" is proven true.
Great job Aaron, even D P did well. Love seeing Jerry and Matt there. The whole team was!
Looks good! Can't wait to see what it looks like when it comes back from the chrome shop.🍻
👍Really great to see Jerry, Matt, and the two of you in the shop!
Nice project !!! Great to see the crew together. John
Going to be sweet when it’s done. Nice job gents, good to see Jerry and Mat. Thanks for the tag along vid sir.
It's amazing how fast Matt got the word how it broke when he was driving....lol. It's a whole different truck that needs a whole different level of engineering but you guy's are the men for the job. Keep up the good work guy's
I like the way you guys work together, by mixing a little work with commodity
Thanks
11:48 Perfect! Tack it on and put flags on the tips!
Wow! Those were some complex angles to get those to work. You and Aaron make for a great work and comedic relief team. Great video. Thank you both DP. 👍
Baby always says the second time is the most exciting and always the best. Don't know about the tag team effort, but good job boys. Everyone satisfied.
That single round pipe that came on the truck is starting to make sense
Yes but he wants his twin pipes
Even round duals would have been easier. And that box tubing was massive overkill, very expensive and not the best for flow. But great content I must say.
@Woodpurposed Mechanic
Yes, it would be probably be easier for two round stacks.....
But the custom square tube systems are unique to Derby !!! 😎
@@alexosborne5629having been there… I can attest to the need for a something to put Derby on the map! LOL
Niice!
I love how you two work as a team. An awesome finished product too!!! Very entertaining video!!!!
This explains why the factory ran a single, center mount stack. 😁
No it don’t plz think about that
That was a great video, and MBS the welding job you did is amazing. I’m looking forward to seeing the pipes installed. Watching from Perth Western Australia 😁👍👍🇦🇺
You guys are a great team ! Love watching the interactions and the progress ! Thanks for sharing :)
Thanks
Enjoy the stack welding and you two and complets teams .
Great job guys…….again😂 The whole crew turning up was a bonus. Thanks for posting. 🇬🇧👍👍👍
I was wondering when we were going to see Matt and Jerry back on the job… can’t wait to see y’all back moving DIRT!
He's almost certainly back out on the dirt already - but we won't get to see it until the end of May or June 😉⏳
Hey Mike, that line “the only person I know that has to use a stepladder for sawhorses “ is a classic. Good thing Aaron has a great sense of humor, you might lose your help.lol Great job.
My late FIL had a very short "Skiring board ladder", LOL.
Great job on laying them back, but I'll say it again, those stacks are made of such heavy guage steel you can afford to delete the headache rack completely and build a custom one between the two uprights for a much cleaner look without comprising the strength and protection.
This was one of those days to be thankful metal is more forgiving than wood.
Loved how Gerry stopped in to check on y'all
Great job welding Aaron
Mike.. thanks for taking us along..
It was nice of Matt and Jerry to stop by.
Ed from Chicago!
Looking good guys, thanks for sharing!
looks great, how about making excavator bucket tips for those stacks as long as you are going for awesome custom ?
When you started the truck the 1st and second time. You had an exhaust leak. LoL God bless
Uh Oh more work on the way!! Good morning all have a great day1
Thanks for the video.
love the new intro and outtake great to see you all together and having fun
Always love the videos with all the banter between you and MBTS, truly entertaining.
I'm with Man behind the scenes on this lol. Waiting for the dirt to pour down the stacks.
Stacks look awesome Mr Dirt Perfect
Great video Mr Dirt Perfect and Aaron
Thanks
Don't forget you have to lift that bed too. So the fix would have to include the stacks being out of the way at any angle so you can raise the bed.
👍 I like those waaay better than the first ones. Cool looking!
Thanks
You have got a great group of guys working for you, you should be lucky!
Coffees on! Guys!! lov it ! Cheers!;-)!!!!!! ,, i'm with Aaron ..;-) !lol!
Nice! I see the boss showed up! Lol(jerry) he wants too get back to work mike
Stacks look fantastic. You all have way to much fun, a bit jealous here, LOL. Going to be sweet. Thanks for sharing.
Great to see most of the whole crew together
Great rework great video thanks Mike and Aron and Jerry
Hi Mike,
You and Aaron did an awesome job on version 2 of the exhaust stacks!
The look so cool! AAA+++
Thanks
13:40 Ouch! I felt that!!!
The carrier bearing is still working on the truck but BD”s bed hits the exhaust 😮. Good catch.
🙄 cut the bed out.
More welding ❤❤❤ more camaraderie 😂
Great job guys. Looking forward to see how you connect the stacks into the existing exhaust pipe. 👍🏽🤠 3/30/23
Right there, at the 2:12 mark, Aaron's idea caused me to spit out my mornin' coffee! Good one 'Man Behind The Scenes' !
Lol
Cant wait to hear Bubba rumble and roar!
Great job guys
Awesome video!! Stacks are going to look sweet!!! Great job fellas!!
Welders can fill any cracks no matter how sloppy the fitter is
Dam I was looking forward to it all can't wait to see the end cheers Jill Australia ❤ 🐨
When is the mack going to be on your channel
Talking about all the fixes on the 850J. Jerry says, it's 6o degrees I might go down and sit on it. hahahaha 😂
Mike when unit comes to a rise while turning the stacks will hit. Sorry for negative comment.👍👌✌️✌️I now see you are going to fix the problem.
No
If 1st you don't secede, try and try again ..... Keep up the great work you do..... Can't wait for more.....
It’s too bad the first set up didn’t work but second almost looks better great job
Hum - dirt shelf - 48" right angle with point up or a sheet to shed water and dirt towards the front.
Jerry's the real boss
ahh man what a bummer after all thateffort and high quality welding from MBHTS cheers from a fellow welder
Hay, there's nothing wrong with rev 2! Great video! Thanks Mike and Aaron. It was great to see Jerry and Matt, too! Lee

Yeah make sure you crank it all the way to the stops and flex the cab as you raise the bed cause you aren’t always dumping on level ground 👍👍
What a real shame the 1st set of stacks didn't work, me I would have cut out the bed only because I'm lazy. The final set look brilliant, going to look really cool once they're up and painted. Looking forward to seeing that Rollin Coal!!.. 👍
IR&D that’s what you do in the shop!! Great work gentleman 👍🇺🇸
Looking good. You are keeping it moving forward!
Next time you make one of these, can you turn the bottom horizontal pipe at 45 degrees? Then it will be even in width with vertices and dirt will fall off. Just my thoughts. It’s a good thing you have a Professional boiler maker as a friend!
Great video 👍The answer you revealed turn the pipes 180° and face the tip's forward 😊
Aaron has given me an appreciation for welding I've never had.
I think you should get them chromed
Black nitride
Cool!
Your stacks now look like Thor's winged Helmut!!!
Zero concerns about that
If at first you don't succeed, try again. It will look good when done. Cutting the hole for the exhaust pipe may get interesting. Waiting for the next video.
Looks great Mike and MBTS. Good to see Jerry and Matt .
I like it on the first modification, looks great and plenty room!
Thanks
The banter and project itself all made for great viewing guys then had a cameo from Matt and Jerry too, nice one bro. Safe travels. I see C&C is all but 100k subs, be good to see his crew get the silver gong.
I think it’s going to look great Aron you do great welding looks awsome
Hope you guys are thinking about some kind of rain cap, cause that's one hell of a hiding spot for dirt, branches, short welders, etc. lol 🤣
Zero concerns about that
With the stacks pointing back towards the bed ,what's stopping dirt when loading going down exhausts
Zero concerns about that
Exhaust pressure because the engine is running
The stacks are looking good
I always injoy mbts and dp combination you both make work fun . Looking forward to the next video. Always awesome. Denis.
That was a good one. Those are some crazy pipes. Thanks for the laughs guys.
I used to wonder why the old single stack was at the center of the cab. Oh - that's the center of the pivot point that remains a constant distance from the bed.
Nothing to do with it
DP, you need to start numbering your builds like they do with software.
0.01, 0.02, 0.03 ... so the final is 1.0
I like the honesty... doesn't work rework the process. Thank you. Good to see Matt and Jerry or is it Gerry?
Good fabbing!
Mike and Aaron another great video! Thanks for sharing! Kevin
Was a welder before retiring. Used to tell people when asked if I could weld oversized cracks or space that I could weld the crack of dawn if it were in the same room with me.
It is gonna look nice. Sound of the C-model Volvo’s is still the best, probably better with these stacks.
Who would have thought watching two guys banter would be so entertaining! LoL 🤣😆
