Why were you so nervous? I would work on mindset and belief going into the comp, telling yourself that you are going to be awesome, smash the routines and most of all enjoy it. Each time you do your training make sure that you are replicating the competition feelings so at the comp its not the first time you have done it. After the next comp you will be telling yourself how brilliant it was... so all yourself that now. Work on your mind as much as you do your gymnastics.. do some reading and research.. it will help you
Awesome video, you're really smashing out those routines! You dad is so funny, you guys never fail to make me laugh! Also, can you not put a sticky-note on your front door to remind you to take your lunch? I do that to remind me to take the rubbish out in the mornings. Just a thought. :-)
Hi Nile, I'm currently in full time training in musical theatre and do a lot of hours of intense dance on a daily basis and I don't feel like I'm eating right. Because we don't get a lot of longer breaks and I'm in the studio from early in the morning and so tired when I get back in the evening I just end up snacking and eating for convenience (usually pasta) and I think I'm probably having too many carbs just to feel full. And suggestions on how to alter my diet to better suit my training and schedule? Thank you, any advice is so much appreciated!!
Hi Melanie, check out my latest video on nutrition! I don't believe you should eat to look good, I think eating should fuel your performance so you need to find what makes you feel best when you're dancing!!

Nile - please do a Gymnastics Meets Ballet or Modern/Jazz Dance - I'm sure there are dancers with the Royal that would love to work with you.
