There are 28 different monthly squads and each gives a big reward for meeting their objective the first time. Monthly squad runs don't give regular XP though. You only get XP for the regular rewards track through normal runs. The monthly rewards are larger and worth doing first until you clear them all.
Storyline for AK are very mixed. Sometimes you get a released event which is actually a story event that takes place in the future of Rhodes Island, the other times you get an event which is actually a prelude to the whole founding of Rhodes Island itself. But one thing for sure is, the developers actually keep notes of the whole lore and timeline of the events to the backstories, even if they're scrambled around in terms of release dates (i.e: future story events is released before past story events, then go back to the present, and so on.)
The reason you see Patriot again is because the first half of chapter 8 is Talulahs and Reunions backstory. And fun fact about R8-8: You can complete the stage without operators damaging a single enemy. Also, there are multiple monthly squads all of which have their own rewards and you get to try new operators for free.
You actually played is2 pretty well but when faced with 2 encounters if one can access more paths its probally better to pick that one so you can chose between 2 combat encounters( this happens at 6:16 )
@@nikolaanicic3944 ofc it applies, if he had picked the upper encounter he would have been able to see 2 combat nodes, instead he picked the bottom encounter and has forced to go with the second of those combat operations

generally you want to use Vigna s2, yes, it turns her into a nuke also you should generally always prioritize e2ing your operators over recruiting new ones, especially for the free ones you can get during IS as they will always be maxed out use your two weekly event unlocks
3:20 : Vigna's S2 is basically better in every aspect compared to her S1, regarding warf depends : S1 for more healing, S2 for more damage 3:55 : he doesn't become invisible, Ethan only has -1 aggro, that's it Well, still hanging on to that IS runs though multiple weird choices (like picking gummy when you have so much heal instead of saving or SCREAMING your lungs out that you need HP -narrator : you don't-) but honestly good job for now ! Once the Next Months rolled around it was replaced with a New Monthly Squad with New Rewards Now that all 3 have fully released, You should be able to freely swap between the Monthly Squads in each IS
I dono if you know this Clay If you get the same operator again in IS, picking them would e2 them, so most of the times you want to pick them again instead of getting another e0 operator
my advice is to borrow a thorns from a friend (he's a guard) at the start of the IS run so that he can help most of the run once he uses his skill 3 (after he gets premoted). alternatively you can borrow anyone else's operators to see how they work cause IS is a good mode to experiment with different operators so you know how to use them/ know if you want to get them in the future also rat king is Lin's (caster) dad and trust me when I say you will want to goon for dat rat
ahhh yes R8-8 this stage make me change perspective in this game 4:39 u can put lappland to the left of warfarin and face down u can hit the drone block the way and help the bottom lane
That rat king is a pain. If you get Necrosis caster or Virtousa it's easier but my word. He shows up in a Annihilation stage too and is annoying in that. From what I am learning, some stages are full RNG depending on what boosts you get. Some runs I got increase in stats and other runs wouldn't give me a medic until late stages. :(. It is interesting though. Still learning but managed to get the rewards from some monthly runs. Didn't clear it though. Also found out Doberman is 2 hope so I may build her for early stages. Otherwise I am getting through.
I would recommend you to try out Pozëmka as a support unit against these drones and other elite enemies. She is a close range heavy sniper and has a typewriter (which is a turret lol) which you can deploy on any ranged tile, no matter where pozemka is. Her turret deals crazy damage and lowers enemies def, which just shreds them (u have to use s3). She is a very useful and versatile dps.
