Love this succulent. Got it twice but they died...perhaps due to over watering. Thinking of getting a new one so found this video on how to care for it. 😀
Why is mine turning purple? It never gets direct sun, and I read that to much sun causes this, and that in nature they grow under shrubs, I don't under because mine only gets indirect sunlight? Hope you can help!
Mine gave me a couple cool seedpods that burst open exposing little seeds with a wispy whit top. I would like to plant them, any tips to give them the best start?
Sow the seed in a well-trained seed mix, perhaps with some fine sand in it. Bury the seeds just under the soil and keep them warm above 65 and slightly damp until they germinate.
I learned a lot about caring for this succulent from watching this video and this might make me sound foolish but I can't somehow differentiate between this and the Stapelia. So I'm left wondering whether what I own is the Huernia Zebrina or the Stapelia.

What type of fertilizer do you use for succulents? Love ur videos! Do u ship plants to Arizona?
We use a general balance fertilizer same as with all our plants. Nothing special, and Yes we do ship to AZ.

They are in the same family, you can ID them from the flowers.
LogeesPlants - Yes, I realise that now but thank you very much for informing me. 👍👍
Wow 😋
Do you water it in the Winter? Thanks
Hello! You can water it during the winter months. Just make sure to err on the dry side.
