    I learn from Snosnoff more than anyone else. And I use his techniques. For example, my portfolio delta today is 884 and my total theta is 1439. And I really look forward to earnings plays. Tom has made me money and I am strongly considering leaving TDAM for Tasty Works. The downside with that is the lack of paper money. I always place my trade in paper trade first to see if the fill meets my portfolio overall. TDAM has paper. My trading account is in the middle six figures so i cannot afford to be late to the party. That includes futures.

    Great stuff Tony, I am learning a lot from your explanations of how to pick the strike prices for the credit / debit spreads. But could you please do a video on how much you would multiply the size of the position relative to your account size?
    i.e. For your Fedex example on a $100k account, would you be collecting/buying $5k in premium for this trade?

    Wow Tom is genius, I hope this goes in everyone's blood so everyone can make money instead of taking losses in trading. One question how do you screen stocks for the week for different strategy? Hope you can cover this question next time with Tom and yours insights on reply will be appreciated!

  • @scotth5038

    Question.? What is the down side on debit spreads if you slide down both or just the long strike. The Delta is better as in entry and acceleration and the BE is improved. What I’m I missing. Thank you, Excellent podcast.

  • @GolfW4ng

    So I've only been trading options for a few months, and I've been doing very well but it's mainly with debit spreads. Which obviously in this market is making money. Following tastytrade and Tom I get the vibe that I should be selling premium. Out-of-the-money iron condors and strangles. Do you guys actually use debit spreads? Or is it mainly a delta neutral strangle? I'm really at a Crossroads of what I should be doing from this point on. please let me know!

    • @andylaque
      @andylaque 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You can't lose your shirt doing debit spreads. Keep up the good work.

    • @GolfW4ng

      @@andylaque Spent a good few months really educating myself on options in general. Only been trading for a few weeks, I don't see why I can't continue what I've been doing. I just got the vibe from tastytrade that I should be more delta neutral in selling premium

    • @andylaque

      Keep doing what works for you.

    • @Hallstyle
      @Hallstyle 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Do what works for you. Tom said he does debit spreads in products with low IV rank. But he normally looks for products with high IV rank to sell premium

    • @Music4Sleep500
      @Music4Sleep500 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Debit spreads are better for low iv, since when we have low IV we get less premium. If that strategy is doing well for you keep doing it, but there is no magic formula for options so I would try to diversify so you can make money no matter the direction the market takes.

  • @yoamulek1130
    @yoamulek1130 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    • @Hallstyle

    Do you have a teaching video on all the options terms that are used in Options trading. Its difficult to understand the terms without explaining the basics. Along with all the discussions on different strategies please include the basics of options terms and explain about spreads, what is a spread, what is a strategies, how to use them. A beginner learning to swim first feel the water goes in a place where can walk then swim. If goes into the deep water without swimming he'll or she will drown. please include basic teachings along with regular so that it will be profitable for all.

    If you structure them a certain way they are actually pretty high prob..but at a higher initial cost. These guys know a hella more than I do so I dont know why that statement.
