Hello, cheers from France. It would be great to have comparison of power consumption of those timers.
Recently I discovered that my times power consumption varies when in off state. My mechanical timers took less than 1W for counting time only, while my digital timer use about 18 W of power for only time counting, without anything connected to it.

I want to add button in between the applicance so that person doesn't have access to timer. He should not be able to edit timer setting. I want to cut off time about 15 min, 30 min. that's almost double the voltage. I wouldn't connect if I were you. You need to see the maximum voltage recommended for that device.
