Your first queen pop in war didn't follow QP tenants, that's why it failed. Holding spells is key to ensure the hounds pop where u need them to. Lightning is used to determine his pathing. You're supposed to path in such a way that the queen is between multiple AD and hounds path over her. These were more ZapQuake Lalo. The difference is minor, but employment is key. Quad Lalo isn't as much fun as the QP. TY for bringing this old but reliable strategy to the masses. Love the attack, wish it worked well at higher TH.
All valid points, It’s not a strat that I use enough to be an expert on but trying to help the newer players who may not have seen cast n blasts old videos on this, I’ll pin this comment so people can find it. My next th9 will be laloon with skelly spells mixed in, and it’s WAY better IMO

Although this strategy has been around for a very long time, Quad Lavaloon is stronger in my opinion and in my next TH9 video I’ll be showing how to use skeletons spells to make sure the AQ going down very consistently

Well when ur gonna get to th9, u still will need to upgrade balloons, lavahounds and etc. which will take at least a week
I’m newer th9 and I used dragons before, it’s so much harder to pull off attacks at th9 because of archer queen a new AD and xbows
Mantas hounds from 1 to 2 isn’t important trust me but the haste is so helpful
@@moarlow3255 Its gonna take you like 2 weeks for that... it took me 1 week and a half with 4 builders, Eq spell on upgrade in lab before lab upgrade...
I mastered this attack already after months of constant use, I’m still a th9 and pushed all the way to titans league using this strategy, but I did it differently than you. I don’t recommend using 3 lava hounds because that’s already too much dark elixir being used, I use 2 Lava Hounds, 20 Minions, 24 Balloons, 3 Rage spells, 1 Heal (for splash towers), and 1 haste (to lure CC troops). It’s the perfect combination I found and perfect amount of dark elixir used so it’s not too much. All you have to do is lure the CC out with a haste as he showed above perfectly with about 2 or 3 loons, then locate the air defenses, people like making symmetrical bases so look for 2 air defenses and make sure they’re near-symmetrical to one another, then send your balloons in first and about 1 or 2 seconds after the balloons send in both hounds at the air defenses, send 1 hound at each air defense. The reason you always drop loons first is because they have a slower tile movement speed than the hounds so since they move slower when you put the hounds down about 2 seconds after, the hounds will pass them up and start taking damage right before the loons do. Then as usual, place your spells accordingly, don’t use them too fast and not too late, the rage spells are the most crucial ones. Then after that just throw your minions and Heroes in after the hounds and lions cleaned out whatever defenses and clean up the remainder of what you can. For the Clan castle just take a poison spell for the CC troop because with LavaLoonion it’s hard to kill troops with minions or just your queen so I suggest always carrying a poison spell & whatever other troops you’d like in your CC, extra hound helps out.
My queen is upgrading 24/7 so this is hard for ne to use...

I've tried this a bunch, and pups almost never kill the queen even with poison and rage. This is true in Eric's 2 videos on this strategy as well. In this video and his quad laloon vid, if the queen falls, it's because the loons target a defense that the queen is standing on, killing them both.
it happens with great frequency if you path the hounds over the queen, and even more frequenty if the queen is standing between 2 or 3 airdefs.
Whn this attack fails for me its because not enough hounds pop and I time fail.
One of my TH9 accounts is nearly maxed with Hound and a few Hero levels to go. I only do Pekka Smash but with your excellent tuition Eric I'm looking forward to practicing this strategy and then use it for Wars.
This is not the best try hogs and queen walk if your maxed this is only If you have low level troops

Its weird that Lvl 6 lightning can take out a Lvl 8 AD but lvl 5 lightning cant take out a lvl 7 AD.

I also got 6 pack from my th 9 for my lev 7 clan against a terrifying lev 16 clan few days ago using queen pop and lightning dragons for my first time.
My clanmates got surprised lol.

Also the whole point of bringing extra lavas is to help when the air defences can't be picked off and enemy queen is in the core. If you take out one ad with lightning and another with your heroes you're much better off with 2 lavas and extra balloons and extra rage or haste. Hence why your lavas diddnt pop and can frequently cause time fails.

LaLoon is a very very simple attack. Just throw your Hounds and Loons in and you can literally 3 star any base. (If your balloons are raged and hasted). Nice vid.

What do we do if we can’t get max level hounds in the CC if we can’t count on getting cc donations?
Then get a better clan that actually donates, no clan worth it’s weight would allow people to attack in war without CC troops, max donated troops are not necessary, they just make it a little easier

this is mostly the attack im using to push to champs at th9 rn, about 40 cups away. I use same cc, but 24 loons, 3 hounds and 5 minions, as well as 3 haste 2 rage 1 heal.

Yeah I’ve always been more of a quad laloon can on new accounts then switch to QC lalo as soon as Queen levels up a bit

Been using this attack for over a year and a half and have concluded it's the most versatile attack at th9. It honestly hurt me as an attacker because I got really dependent on it and it was the only attack I could use. Still did really great in war, tho. Hope Cast 'N' Blast is doing okay. Seems to have completely dropped out of Clash and TH-cam.
Yeah he was good, but didn’t want his strat to go away, the newer TH9s may not have heard of him so wanted to bring it back

When they added th12, they buffed the lightning spell and since then you no longer need the quake

Some of your lavahounds didn’t pop because ur queen took down the air defense. Should’ve let the air defense kill the hounds and it would’ve been a 3 stars. Good luck next time.

IMO you’re using too many hounds.
I’ve been using QPop Laloon for a few years now, and I’m only using 3 hounds while I only get 1 AD (including the hound in te CC). You got 2 AD in your war attacks and still went with 4 hounds.
Haha yeah was sticking too much to the cookie cutter build, you are 100% correct. I’m thinking the next thing video I make will be centered around showing how to use a donated skeleton spell to bring down the AQ easily

We don’t see giants used much at th9 in war except while forming funnels or just doing a little tanking during a witch slap while witches get some skellies spawned to take over tanking

Haha well I never rage quit, even a fail can continue to gather info on the base that might be useful to the next attacker. But can’t think of any time I’ve got a double fail on my TH9 unless I was being forced to go for 9v12 2*s
