@@paullo1846 LOL. Good old times. I miss the floppy disk era somehow. PC gaming was so much more magical and rare back then. Finding games was not easy. I had to walk or bicycle 5km to a game shop. I remember the atmosphere in these shops. Cant compare to todays game shops.
Always thought it was unusual for the game to switch to text mode for the end of level score count. Either way, fond memories of playing this on my aunt's work PC, which had a Hercules card with an amber TTL screen.

No, this is deffinitely sound card. (I didn't have one on my XT, that's how I know 😆.) However, there were different types of sound cards. From tge top of my head you had the Creative ones (SoudBlaster 16 or 8 as the budget offering), AdLib and a few more I can't recall... However, I think how this sounds depends on the MIDI implementation of the manufacturer - from what I recall, the number of available instruments and how they sounded varied quite a bit...

He did all that hustle only to find that his woman in the meantime started her family xD There was also something that I think was removed on newer revisions of the game: the protagonist can't "eat" other humans (they just disappear) on level 7. I guess that was a response against accusations of cannibalism.
Without your cheats I doubt that you'd pass level 3, as a kid my best was level 5, after beating the triceratops, this game was too difficult not to get hurt, or a jump a bit too early cost you one life.
Yes too difficult and have no all the time in life, so i wanted to see all levels thru and the trainer.exe came with the game i had so why not spoil it by pressing number keys 1-5

I also fixed the problem with the No-Hit not working on the Even Number levels I made the mistake of finishing the game a couple of times before I did this. It could have been better, I'm just tired of messing with it..

It's actually possible to eat the vultures, you just have to hit them lots of times. Most players just assume they're immortal.
