That Hat / Vase reminds me of my friend Ulana. She made and sold those hat in Michigan. Sadly she passed away last year… I still have the hat I made when I went to visit her……. Did you know that hat is made of the material that the airline manufacturers use for insulation of planes……
That moment with George and the paper hat will forever be inscribed in our minds.❤
It’s not easy to impress Andrew but George did it with that hat. 😆
😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
That chicken with wheels would make a cute Easter basket.
I just picked up the same blue chicken and it had a pier 1 sticker on it.
If you noticed the pinging of the glass was loud. This has nothing to do with the lead content, but the bell shape of the piece. Bowls, plates and cups will ping, regular or leaded. To compare a Baccarat goblet and a Libby tea glass is not a good comparison as a heavy glass more cylinder shaped isn't going to ping like a bell shape although they both will. What does not ping is glass that is cracked. It has a dull thud sound just like cracked ceramics and pottery.
Lead adds clarity to the glass. The shape adds the ping.
Me too
Agred. That is not a test for crystal. It will all ping
My dad had one of those paper hats in the 60's, he thought it was hysterical :) Have a great week everyone!!!!!
I wanted to thank you for the education I have received watching your videos. I am currently helping a friend clean out her grandparents house, and we are finding some wonderful things. And I have been able to identify quite a bit of it. So much stuff from the 30's to 50's. Unique and fun.
You got some great stuff at both stores…nothing extraordinary but lots of good deals! I love the sassy candle stick holders and the Pfaltzgraff chickens but I’m also really digging all the pottery pieces you picked up!
lol if your sister doesn’t want the shelf I’m positive you’ll sell it in a heartbeat! 😅❤
Those sassy candlesticks would look awesome on your yellow table in the sunroom
Those chickens would look do cute in your booth- spring /Easter display!
We have six fireplaces in our Victorian, and I've never seen a mantle lamp I've liked as well! Might need to make the pilgrimage.
I always love each find you buy no matter where you shop. The family vlogs were fun❤
The clothes pins ,are called pegs in the uk .i like to hear what things are called in other countries lv Ann uk 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧❤️❤️
The Andrew and George hat moment was the best! I've never seen one of those hats before.
That shelf is amazing and i think BoHo for sure!!
Def. Cottage core & boho.
My sister really liked it. :)
You are my favorite picker and I have learned and continue to learn so much from you. You inspired me to start selling on eBay. I now have sold 3 items in less than a month. The first one was a total fail 😅 though. I didn’t even make enough for the box I had to buy to ship the thing. I keep watching your videos and absolutely love everything you pick. Love your family and I pray all of God’s blessings over y’all.
A total joy!
That ceramic pitcher was called a pubby in the SCA (a medieval group)they have an event in Aug in Pennsylvania every year it's worth about 35-45.00
Love your videos
Great items!!😊
Thank you. Love the cat
I live in Carlisle Cumbria England & we have 22charity shops/thrift shop & all good prices. In the uk our shops are run by volunteers and just one person paid manager.
South of England London is expensive
Those sassy candleholders will sell well. They’re too cute.
Nice finds today!!!
I love those lady candle holders! I would totally have grabbed those, too!
Hello Jocelyn, love watching you shop ❤❤😊😊
Jocelyn seashells are crazy expensive they can be long tail. Likely not the case for you though. I recently sold one about the size that you picked up for 50.00. If you see them pick them up and list them or auction them off. It’s a great find!
That white wicker shelf thingy is great, very boho!!!
I love the chicķens .lady candle holders.
Happy tuesday to all of you.
Love the cat! And I love the Pfaltzgraff chicken and sassy candlesticks.
I LOVE the glass item with the crystals!! It is beautiful. And that shelf is so unique. Thank you for taking us.
Love the dove! I would put that in my garden on my bench.
Love the chicken and candle sticks! Definitely would be my Easter basket! Love the Boho shelf, too! Great find!🎉
20:40 Drew's reaction is priceless 😂
Love that shelf-great find! Could fit in different decors, including boho.
I remember that day with George and the paper hat too! A couple of months ago I saw Pete in a video with one on his head and knew what it was. I would never have known otherwise, so cool! 🦋
Loved George 's paper hat ! That mexican pottery cup / vase( lead-free) you found @ end of 1st goodwill video was really beautiful ! Thanks ! Xox ❤
love George
I loved the Dove, even with the chip!..Also the Sassy Candle holders😁👍
Love the cool rosters😂
The white wicker shelf was a great buy! Most people into BOHO are looking for natural wicker rather than the white painted, but you should have no problem selling that for a decent profit in your both should your sister not want it.
Like the chickens and glad you changed your mind. Also the sassy candlesticks😁boho reindeers 😅.and of course, all kinds of pottery, which I collect.
Nice to be back from vacation and spring is right around the corner.!!! ❤❤❤
What a great walk through. What great finds. Please Stay Safe Happy and Healthy Have A Wonderful Day
The concert goodwill!! 😂😂😂 omg I'm totally going to use that! Totally concert status!!
“ We are back in Pa.” - lol shopping in Maryland. I’ll bet you miss that Florida sun . Great fun shopping vid.
Oh my, I would have bought the platter!
Just after you looked at the little bowl to see if it was Waterford, there was a Jeanette glass Harp glass serving tray (gold handles). I recently sold same one for $45. Thanks for all your videos!
First thing first Love the shirt! Glade you made it back home safe. The 3 cats mom with her cubs orange, the N. S. Gusto cat bank, the fun ladies candle holders, & the mom, baby wooden deer. Loved it all some really cute stuff.❤❤
So happy you picked up the shell and loved the Whicker shelving unit. Would look great in a bathroom or conservatory. The candle holders were a little of fun.
Ps Lot of fun not little 😂
Ahaha oh thank you for including the clip of George the nomad. That would hilarious!
Omg the paper hat 😂😂😂. The white wicker shelf was nice.
Love those chickens ❤
Concert Goodwill! 😂😂😂. You’re a sweet sister, Jocelyn!
Good morning, hope you're all doing well and everybody's fine no one is sick and all is well in the family is doing good to your mother your daddy I love you.
I like the chickens too.
We had every singe piece of the pfaltzgraff pistoulet they sold, including valances and wall border. LOL. A couple retired pices were worth a ton of money when we sold and replaced with fiesta. We used the rolling chicken for pens and pencils. 😂
Your mom will arrange something real cute with the chickens and the candlestick holders ❤
Pfabulous Pfaltzgraff 😊
I have run across non kitchen ware Phaltzgraffe, too
When you found those chickens and said call me crazy … of course crazy. Made me laugh. It’s your name! Plus I learned from you a long time ago that weird sells!
It's hard some days to choose between what draws us in and what actually will sell!
Aww the cabbage patch piggy bank 😮😮😮
You put the stuff Ibreally liked
Lamp plater
@19:56 there was a Fontanini box. Worth investigating!
I remember that episode when George did that! 😂😂
If the hat thingy had a stretchie on the flower, could still be hat. Hat with fabulous flower!
Nice 👍🏼
It's Monday, Feb 26th & back home...
I think I spotted the egg plate that went with the chicken hidden under some other plates! Go back and look if you can.
OMG! George with the vase/hat schooling Andrew! Hilarious 😂 If you hadn’t shared the clip I would have gone through old videos to find it. So much fun!
It took me a minute to find it, but it was SO good. :)
BOLO for Pfaltzgraff Yorktowne TREATS canisters! They are rare, and I recently took an offer of $80 on eBay.
That was fun 😂❤California
I saw the blue chicken listed on Etsy for $80 and on eBay for $30. No mention of manufacturer on either site.
I have that cabbage patch girl bank lol , also have a boy one .
I wish the Goodwills here, (TN) had better offerings. The ones you shop at have some nice things. Maybe not all worth a lot of money, but nice for the home.
00:43 It's a hobbyist piece, is what.
02:06 They gots their similarities.
02:29 Yeah, don't get excited ... I got a pair of silver-plate candlesticks just like 'em.
04:26 It's Crooksville (after 1902) "Pasmantier" ware, coming from the Crooksville China Co. They hit a rough patch after the Depression and never really recovered, closing for good in 1959. That piece is probably end of the 1930s.
14:45 Even if it's not the most valuable in the world, it's Johnson Brothers and could be a nice booth piece.
16:51 That is an effing MASSIVE queen conch (KONK), _strombus gigas._ They're very edible, and consequently threatened from over-fishing. Looking at the shell size and thickness, this one was more than five years old (full adult) when it was harvested. It seems this one might have had the tip of its shell cut off to turn it into a horn-like instrument. (I have one smaller but similar, which I can blow like a _shofar._ )
21:00 True, but it's ALSO missing SOOOOOOOOO MANY of its crystals!
21:48 AWWWWWWwwwwwwwwwwww ...
Hi Jocelyn❤ thank you!! Where are you in Pennsylvania wearing a short sleeve t-shirt lol
A lot of people put blue vase on small trees or bushes there’s a reason forgot what it was 😂
We all grow in our tastes so it’s alright
YAY..HI BEAUTIFUL GIRL!
Ye
George needs that hat 😂
WHAT MAKE IS YOUR NEW CAR. I LOVE THE COLOR OF THE SEATS AND THE WINDOWS ARE AMAZING
She hasn't shared that info.
Everyone should look up the manipulative psychology of stores playing loud music while we shop. It’s insane.
Your nails match your shirt! cute.
You must get Andrew to try on the hat!
💗
Goodwill is getting very proud of their merchandise! I find things that are priced way above their value. I shop less and less at goodwill.
More for the rest of us!
You passed a carousel horse music box. My mother gave one very similar to my daughter when she was about 8. Great memories.
Yes, I saw it, too, but sadly, there is no resale value in most of them.
Just a good memory. Both my mother and daughter have passed. Miss them and both wonderful people.
❤❤❤❤❤
Why didn’t you look for the egg plate to go with the chicken 🐔? I so wanted to dig with you thru the plates.
Love the chickens!
❤
I can’t believe it’s been two years since the paper hat show… where does time go
Did you really just say "Call me crazy"? that's funny.
That pig sleeping 😂
The dove looks like Rosenthal. ?
Your sister watching this like, where’s my shelf?? 😆
It was hard to tell, but your conch may have had the tip cut off to make it into a horn.
