Equality isn't a ladder, we don't need to knock one another off to get on it, or fight to get to the top--that's what has been happening forever. Outside of America it's very visible, many peoples have struggled over this issue--we divide ourselves in the face of oppression and doom ourselves.
Inequality is the difference in the platforms, the unfair disproportion of opportunities. Fighting, and not caring for one another, is exactly what we've been set up to do.
When Asian-Americans started joining the Civil Rights Movement years ago, many publishing companies began releasing articles and all these statistics on how Asians were the "model-minority" and everyone believed it--many Asians thought themselves on a different side from blacks, and we definitely weren't on the same team as the whites, no matter how badly some of us wanted to be.

Look at the way HBO treats white fighters to black fighters, they hated on mayweather, they hated on Bradley, they even hated on Roy Jones somewhat until he proved them wrong. I actually liked Deontay a lot (less after his excuses) and he's really raised his game in terms of his speech and his public 'self.' He made some profound points in the interview about head trauma, etc. And particularly about tight friends suddenly asking for money, etc.
What I don't like besides the excuses after his TKO loss- is his doubting Fury's past. Deontay said on British TV he didn't come from the projects. Sure he's has a tough life with his daughter's medical problems, etc. Fury points out that he was told by his teachers he would never amount to anything or amass any qualifications. How fucked up is that - from your teachers?
They BOTH had it hard. It's sad that people around Wilder told him to make light of Fury's own - really - difficult past. Wilder said he really likes Fury. It's sad for the sake of promotion if others tell him to belittle Fury - and he does.

So that explained Wilder's INTENSITY when RR asked him to explain his words ("Till THIS DAY!"😲). Loool in the press conference when fury said he fights not only for himself but he fights for the people (fighting mental health) and is the people’s champ, that got wilder jealous and he wanted to be people’s champ too so now he’s saying he fights for love, peace and equality (using his race) but in reality he’s none of that he just wants titles and money. Difference between him and fury is that fury is a real one, a real people’s champ- fury’s gonna give most of his purse to build homes for the homeless, that’s something only a real good person would do, you can’t manufacture that.
