These could well be unique in that they're the only toy I can think of where the manufacturers actually encouraged you to smash them to smithereens. Must be a nightmare for collectors. Watching this video I had flashbacks of seeing the dummies perform some track or other on Top of the Pops. I think it did reasonably well too... in a novelty, Mr Blobby kinda way, if you like that sort of thing.

Holy nostalgia. I had about all of the toys and sets as a kid including the SNES game. The black derby car was my favorite! They don't make toys like they used to.
holy fuck man these toys were my absolute favorite as a kid. by the time they came out I was starting to outgrow toys but these toys were just too damn cool. I had the same car you had there and a bunch of guys that popped apart when you pushed or hit their belly button. they were well articulated and just completely awesome. they should bring these back because I swear to god, they were AWESOME!!!!
I mostly remember the short movie. I owned almost all the toys too. I kinda remember an ad but the vast majority of what I was into was because of the movie.
I remember my brother got all these for his 8th birthday and my mom and I getting them all from the clearance rack at toys r us for next to nothing. Lol

This was one of the best toys of the 90s. I loved the Amiga game too, though it was probably objectively terrible. But are political remarks really necessary on an escapism channel? People come here to forget about how shite and divided the real world is.
