You know I did like the Boondocks in the later seasons but remember when season 1 was really about Huey as like... the main character and not just the voice of reason who would only get like a couple of plots or focuses a season? I'm guessing Grandad and Riley and Uncle Ruckus were just a lot funner to write for and you could do more off the wall material with them but Huey did have a lot of charm and uniqueness about it that felt like it kind of dropped even though like... the comics were really all about him. So sad the show stopped being that after season 1.
I Hope The Boondocks gets a season 5 Aaron McGruder would have so much material to work with now.
