I love seeing young Jerry, those days were good, still had a lot to look forward to. I'll miss Jerry 😢 forever, gratefully,the music gets us by. Jerry took care of us even in death, we have a piece of his heart and soul. Thank you Jerry, for the music and for teaching all of us how to live...
I'm in college right now. I'm tired all my friends like EDM with no musicians. Today I was about to settle in n I heard Friend of the Devil. Come to find out a Dead cover band of other college guys was playin, couldn't been happier I think Good Music might be coming back.... At least now I have hope.
Goodness knows those years had their share of sorrows, headaches and dangers… but there must be a version of Heaven where you just get to kick back on a warm November Sunday in a California wine country campus and listen to Jerry and the boys play bluegrass for love. I know I’d go.
I bought Old & In The Way in mid 70's & never got tired of listening to this. Still Like.
