Was there at 2011 Boxing Day test. Me and my friends flew all the way from US to experience the magic. We were supposed to watch only Day 1 and 2 before heading to Sydney as per initial plan. India dominated the test and gave us so much hope that we canceled the Sydney trip to watch a potentially rare away win. One bad session and we ended up losing on Day 4. The drive to Sydney after was brutal as we thought about the loss and also our own financial losses due to itinerary changes but it still remains as one of the best memories of my lifetime. We are hoping to watch next year’s Ashes Boxing Day test !
Good to see you mate all the away from Nagaland, India(Come to Nagaland for hornbill international Festival which is conducted in Dec every year whenever your schedule is free) always have respect for you mate.

I don't see India winning at Melbourne. The worst thing that happened in this game was Jadeja scoring runs as this confirms his inclusion for the Boxing Day test. Ashwin is the better bowler for the remaining two tests but he's retired. Simply put, I don't see India having the bowling attack to take 20 aussie wickets. The main difference between the sides during the series is the fact that Australia's top 3 have the ability to take the shine off the new ball by playing the waiting game early on unlike their Indian counterparts. An appearance in the WTC final awaits the defending champs.
Australia simply because of several factors 1. Complete confidence not giving 2 fucks about Mcsweeney. 2. Pitch nets rigging- Covered fresh pitches for Australia to practice from tomorrow. 3. Match to be done on day 4. Travis Head to score big (Birthday week), if gone to day 5, hundred loading for Head on 30th. 4. Completely understand Rohit’s improvement in captaincy and a little bit of proactiveness but he has to score runs with the bat. 5. Scott Boland, the most important bowler at Melbourne having bagged 6-7 in 2021. He is the X-factor. India dont have an X-factor, Nitish reddy is already being studied by Australia and he will get out cheaply at Melbourne.
6. India are going into Melbourne with overconfidence having not changed their playing 11, Gill for Washy. This will massively backfire. Restricting Rohit at 3, you must understand his frustration and hence his decision when it comes to captaincy. Play him at 6, he is beyond a walking-wicket.
They were not hampered by weather, indeed miss the trick of declaring when they have lead of 350+ poor captaincy skills. India would have chased 265 + it if weather permitted.
