At the time of this video Adam Rupp ( beatboxer) and Chris Rupp ( hat) are brothers who started the group. They and Rob Lundquist ( glasses) are from Minnesota. Tim Foust ( bass) is from Texas Austin ( high tenor and all that hair) is from Georgia. In later videos, Chris left to do his own thing and Adam Chance took his place. He's from Alabama.
I'm glad you liked this. The do such a huge variety of music. You never know if you are going to dance, cry or fall out of your seat laughing. Looking forward to more Home Free reactions
I think Adam Rupp's incomparable rhythm sets Home Free apart from all other acapella groups and makes these fabulous medleys SO incredibly smooth❣️ 🤣😆🤣😆🤣 Home Free is supremely talented on every level and their ability to seamlessly integrate multiple songs together is just beyond words! ❣️🎼🥰🎶❤️ #HomeFree #HomeFries
New subscriber. Great reaction, too! I love it when people discover Home Free. They are a freakishly talented group of fellas that excel in all music genres. They can make you laugh sometimes, they can make you cry sometimes but they always impress. Here's a cheat sheet on the group: Adam Rupp, co-founder of HF and the awesome beatboxer. Tim Foust, bass. He has a five-octave range. Rob Lundquist (glasses and beard) Tenor Harmony. Austin Brown, Lead Tenor. Adam Chance, Baritone ( goes by Chance). Chance replaced Chris Rupp (co-founder) who left in 2016. Take Me Home Country Roads is phenomenal but you might also want to check out Dreamer, When A Man Loves A Woman, End Of The Road, One Man Band, American Pie featuring Don McLean, I Swear, Blue Ain't Your Color, Dive Bar Saints, The Driver, Crazy and Folsom Prison Blues. For some funny ones: Butts Medley, All About That Bass, Champagne Taste, Hillbilly Bone and Ray Stevens' Mississippi Squirrel Revival. For some serious ones: How Great Thou Art, Go Rest High On That Mountain. When you are familiar with all the boys and their vocal roles, do Mayday. And last but not least, Brothers In Arms. It is haunting and beautiful. They have recently released several new songs that you will want to check out. Unchained Melody, Listen to the Music, Brother and Stargazer Lilies trilogy: Give Me A Sign, Stargazer Lilies and Mr. ...Their latest releases are Might As Well Be Me, Playing With Fire, Remember My Name, Oh, Pretty Woman Life is a Highway and Cruise. To switch it up..try Two Country Singers try singing Opera. Adam Chance just wrote the theme song to Ubisoft's new Pirate themed video game, Skull and Bones and Home Free performs it. Welcome to the Home Free rabbit hole!
This is such a fun mashup of 15 songs & shows their sense of humor. This is very cleverly done from one song to another. I didn't know most of these songs. But I don't care as it is just so much fun to watch. The talent these guys have is phenomenal. They have so much fun but the vocals never suffer. And Adam's beatboxing is on another level. Tim is the same bass singer you reacted to recently with his solo stuff. This is just an older video & Tim had longer hair back then. He cut his hair recently & let it grey naturally. Check out "Man Of Constant Sorrow".
Three are from Minnesota, 2 are from the south. They did not grow up together except for the beatboxer Adam and Chris (cowboy hat). Those two are brothers but Chris left the group in 2016 and Chance replaced Chris. When Chance joined that means Adam and Rob (glasses) are from Minnesota and the 3 left are from the south. The beatboxer does drums, harmonica and so many other sounds. I would recommend Adam Rupp Drum Solo (2015). It’s older but it’s just Adam and a microphone doing drums and he’s remarkable. 🤩
New sub for Home Free. No matter whether you do the old or the new videos, they're all fire. But I do suggest that you react to their recent release, Stand by Me. It's incredible. By the way, you have a beautiful bass radio voice.
New 🇨🇦 Sub. Here for more #HomeFree! You’ve only begun what will be a great musical journey down this rabbit hole and we Home Fries (Home Free fans) are here for it. Their catalogue is deep and varied, from country, to pop, to soul, rap, gospel and more - they can sing it all. Whether crying from laughter or due to a thoughtful or somber song one thing is for sure, their music never suffers and or leaves you disappointed but always ready for more. We call their covers upgrades, their collaborations always ensure the featured artist(s) shines and their originals are spectacular. Suggestions from each category to get your started: Upgrades: Stand By Me Brother (you may need to watch twice in your reaction, one for the hilarity and antics and shin for the lyrics/music - we won’t mind) End of the Road Take Me Home Country Roads Blue Ain’t Your Color Collabs: Children, Go Where I Send Thee, feat. Kenny Rogers (watch to the end) The Horses, feat. Travis Collins and Amy Sheppard (filmed Spring 2023 in Australia) One Voice, feat. Billy Gilman (powerful message) God Bless the USA, feat. Lee Greenwood and the USAF Singing Sergeants - done separately during Covid for the 25th anniversary of Lee’s song) American Pie, feat. Don McLean - also done separately during Covid for the 50th anniversary of the song) Originals: Might As Well Be Me (please pause for their “bios” and written answers so you don’t miss the fun!) Dreamer, LIVE at the Ryman, feat. Texas Hill (has a neat intro of everyone) Dive Bar Saints Leave This Town Remember My Name Playing with Fire (watch to the end)
Members until mid-2016 pictured here. Back row: Adam Rupp/beatboxer - Rob Lundquist/tenor - Chris Rupp/baritone (cowboy hat). Front: Austin Brown/high tenor - Tim Foust/bass (cut his hair & let the grey show during lockdowns).
You reacted to the bass, Tim Foust. This is an old video. It’s the same guy, he just got old. Yes, this is 15 pop songs from 10 years ago squeezed into one song. The guy on the right in the cowboy hat left the group in 2016. If you react to any of their videos since, it’s a different guy in a hat. Lots to choose from. “Playing with Fire” is a smooth, recent, original song from them. There are never any drums, just the beatboxer.
“Man of Constant Sorrow” shows the interesting sounds they can make with their voices. Including the beatboxer making harmonica sound. The beatboxer and the guy in the cowboy hat started the group on 2000 in Minnesota. The two guys in the front are from the Deep South, Georgia and Texes.
Caution: Home Free is highly addictive. With a few exceptions, all their songs are acapella (no instruments). Home Free is also ego-free - there is no lead singer, whomsoever sounds best singing it, does so. 3 of them are song writers so there are lot of originals as well as covers. They sing (and write) almost everything from gospel to goofy. Fall down the rabbit hole (bonus: your subscriptions will rise exponentially by playing the acapella bands). Love from a new Canadian subscriber.
they are from all over, Rob & Chris (no longer with the group but was in this video) are from Minnesota, Chance (who us not in this video but joined them after this was filmed) is from Alabama, but he and his wife live in Long Beach, CA, Austin is from Tifton, Georgia but he and his wife live in Nashville, Tn & Tim is from Texas but he & his wife also live in Nashville
I have three good ones to recommend, and I'm talking about the videos themselves, not the concert renditions. Those can come later. The first two get their video ideas from movies. Honey, I'm Good takes from Groundhog Day and has Rob's actual wife at the end. Working For a Livin' is an old hit from Huey Lewis and the News, with the video visuals from The Anchorman movie. And finally, I think you'll like this fictitious story of how the boys got together with the song Good Ol' Country Harmony. I think that's a good start. For now.
Great suggestions! Good Ol' Country Harmony is a cute video with young boys playing the roles of the guys. it's a fictitious story of the guys getting together as you said of course @nightthornkvala94132...and nothing at all like they actually got together lol, but it makes for a sweet video. Workin' for a living is pretty funny too but Honey I'm Good is my favorite of the three you mentioned. Looks like they had a blast filming it😁
These guys are top tier for sure. If you would like to know more about them check out History of Home Free. They have 7 short videos about half hour long each that tells how they got together and everyone that's been in the group since its inception clear up to where they are now. Very good stories and funny. I think you'll love it. Great reactions. Have a great day!
Adam Rupp can play the drums, the trumpet and its either the guitar or piano.Adam doing the airdrums helps him keep the beat but its entertaining too.A world champion beatboxer in vocal percussion give Homefree a little extra.I love your reaction boys your beautiful peoples.#Homefree

It's hard to fathom that there are no instruments at all! You should listen to the Butts Remix! It's another mash-up.
Please react to their cover of End of the Road. You might like it. Thank you.
