Thank you Shanee, I will share this on my LinkedIn feed right now! I have also sent a connection request, to ensure I don't miss the latest videos. My best, Kyle
Thank you for posting this video. You moved right along. Would Streamyard be useful to stream a pre-recorded video rather than a live session or do you recommend a different technology solution?
This is a very helpful video to me. I recently did my first live video yesterday, I thought everything was good, but now the event is showing cancelled on my feed. I think I messed up by creating the event on LinkedIn first, and then going into Streamyard afterwards. But you're saying, as long as I go live at the scheduled time, the event shouldn't show cancelled in the future? Looking forward to your reply 🙂
If you’re going to use Streamyard, I would just create the event in Streamyard (if not you’re kind of doing double work and there’s more room for tech and human error). And yes start it on time. #1 so it’s not canceled and #2 so you don’t miss out on the viewers that put it on their calendar. LinkedIn audience doesn’t play lol 😂 they want it to start exactly on time.
Thank you very much for the video. Have there been any updates to make this less cumbersome? Is there any way to send an invite to existing customers who are not connected with me on LinkedIn? Most of my customers are in the financial services industry and they are prohibited from using LinkedIn
No not really any new updated. You can click the share button and then click copy link to send to customers outside of LinkedIn. Maybe also stream to TH-cam at the same time you stream to LinkedIn?

Awesome
Thanks for supporting the channel Michael
Can I video myself and share it as a live stream?
Yes you can. But there are only some cases where I would recommend that. I’ll do a video on this topic
Is it mandatory to use StreamYard, or can we go live on LinkedIn without any streaming app?
You need a third party app. Most popular to use are streamyard, restream or zoom and sometimes riverside.
