Once upon a time Capital travels bus rules on this route... That time road condition was very pathetic , i had experience of Silchar Guwahati traveling on bus , sumo,winger,lastly i traveled on that chartered bus,so many times i faced traffic halting at jowai,ladrymbai,sonapur.

I travel via this route to Karimganj once every year... I drove my car 6 times by this road, earlier we used to go by bus like Avanti(Now it is not available), Network(Rimi), ASTC, Preronaa Volvo and when I was in shillong that time I used to go by MTC I was very young that time MTC drivers drive so damn fast, pathetic road condition but still I love this route full of turns, greenary, scenic beauty and adventure ❤️
But now a days Mtc service is not good broken seats Reaching late in our destination the normal time it tooks 8 hours but now it tooks 11 hours no proper lights in the bus and on the bus there is only one driver no conductor and rude behaviour by driver broken window and all these stuff no maintenance of buses
