I had a game where I played Aegislash and it was a Ray time no teammates. I waited in left bush opposing team was taking down Ray I waited for the right time and used the unite move and got the Ray. Then I went to score but Urshifu was there and at the time I didn't know that Urshifu passive makes Ray shield useless. (Damage goes throught shield). So I went down because that.
Hey is attack weight good on Garchomp? I’m able to get fully stacked most of the time but I’m questioning if it’s good to run that over muscle band or rapid fire scarf. And if I were to run it what build should I use?
Use it in place of scarf i.e attack weight, muscle band and scope lens with 6 white 6 brown emblems ( I am a Garchomp main and I am also currently using this build and it totally is worth it )
@@geekgear996 the issue I have with attack weight is that if you don't get your stacks you're severely gimped compared to if you just picked any other item with a unique gimmick that could help you all game. Personally, Chomp is far greater with Weakness Policy over it because you will generally be in situations where it's going to activate since you're a melee attacker. Also, it procs from any damage in general so you'll also get a boost if you get attacked by mobs
theres really little to no situation where separate is better, if your low and wanna pass a wall without bringing them with then dont combo, if you want to start a rip into objectives do rush basic claw and rip, for almost anything in a fight its generally always combo
Dragon Rush alone is better when you just want to push someone or move quickly, the combo stop you after dashing for a moment, also it doesn't use Dragon Claw so you have something left to use afterward and won't fk up too badly (but most of the time, if u fk up as a Chomp, u are alr a dead meat, so this is a bit of a stretch) Dragon Claw is quick CC, it is good on it'a own, and I used it as tech move all the time because Chomp move forward as part of the move, he can ignore slow or such and help you get out of some sticky situation surprisingly well (eg. 4:35 he would be able to get himself in the goal with Dragon Claw instead, not sure if that's gonna help him survive, but it's sure better than dying immidiately with Dragon Rush), I use it even when I use Dig, being able to immidiately output a stun is way better than Earthquake imo
@@inkthekitsune I only do it separately to either: A- Use Dragon Rush to jump over walls but not carry my enemies with me (escape) B- Use the second long hit of Dragon Claw to poke opponents running away without jumping in, allows you to have Dragon Rush on standby for escaping also (last hit without diving in) C- Dragon Rush mobs (such as bees) toward my goal then use Dragon Claw to push them away even further (steal farm, keep away) D- If I'm being slowed/CC'd by moves while I'm inches away from my pad I'll use Dragon Claw to step forward onto it so I can get a shield, the first step comes out relatively quick and this trick has saved me from certain death quite a few times where Dragon Rush would've killed me because it pulls back before going forward. (Rare gimmick movement option with forward step of Dragon Claw) 9/10 you will just want to use the regular combo but they do have some uses separately
I love this kind of game for a video so much, for real, watching you just stomp every game make me start to doubt your skill and questioning if all you are doing is outplay clip farm I certainly get to see more in this video, I won't give my opinion, but that's surely a play of all time
I think you don't have to double down on ult to make him work, you can play like assassin instead, Dragon Claw Dragon Rush in 2nd step into non-tank after your tank get in do so much damage and could fk the enemy's flow up, also it stun long enough to give your friend an oppurtunity to finish it off, then you rip whatever is left in the fight
The best Garchomp build is: Resonant Guard Weakness Policy Drain Crown X-Speed to help keep boosted going I know it sounds insane but if you try it you won't regret it
@Aaron-u3g have found way more success without them. Like I said it's crazy, when I picked it the first time I just considered it a meme build and was just messing around. But Garchomp gets more than enough attack speed from his boosts and level advantage, he unironically doesn't need the burst as much as you think he would Kiasis also brings up an important point on why I dropped them, you don't get the chance to pop off with them. They'll instantly drop you. With my odd build Resonant gives you and your teammate a shield when you go for a DC combo, if they do jump on you your WP gets maxed out and with Drain Crown if you get to land boosteds on anything you'll be able to sustain yourself with the heals from it plus Chomps natural vampirism. Also attacking mobs with boosteds already gave Chomp ridiculous HP amounts back, with Drain Crown he gets a ludicrous amount. What I do is drag opponents or mobs into each other with DC combos so I can use them to heal even more. And I know most Chomp players will say Im in the wrong about using X-speed instead of Eject (and tbf it's also preference on my part), but the cooldown for eject button is too dang high for me to want to use it over X speed. Eject is also just a 1 and done teleport, while X-Speed helps keep the Chomp engine running by allowing you to run to people or mobs quickly to keep his boosteds staying up. Sure I can't do janky teleport shenanigans but I also only got to do that once every 90 seconds anyways with eject when I could be using X-Speed twice as much. Also Dragon Rush (+ especially). Allows you to jump over walls to escape people if need be
@@Aaron-u3g I for real doubt if you would do well as melee ramping attacker against CC-oriented meta like this, you don't even get to rip anything anyway, why would you double down with Scarf?
To elaborate, Chomp doesn't need the scarf/band boosts. You will never get to use them if the opponents are competent, they'll just delete you instantly. Resonant gives you and your teammate a shield when you DC combo, giving you some bulk to survive whatever comes next Weakness, when they do start to attack you, will likely get stacks instantly Drain crown, with Chomp's natural vampirism, will help sustain him and keep himself alive X-Speed is personal preference, Eject allows you to do DC combo shenanigans but you only get those once every 90 seconds. X-Speed can be used constantly to help keep boosteds up. This build focuses on Chomp's ability to heal rapidly from his boosteds, drag opponents and mobs constantly into piles so you out-heal any damage that is done to you. I'm more than well aware that this build seems stupid, heck the first time I made it I did it as a joke. But I swear to the fellow Chomp mains out there that this build is good despite looking terrible
@@NickelballskyI am Chomp main, and I agree defensive Chomp is way better than offensive one, I am not pro player so I won't say I am absolutely right, but I feel like I would rather play Cinderace or Glaceon if I want to play offensive Chomp But I tried Drain Crown once when it first release, Chomp getting more lifesteal sounds insane, and I find it completely disappointing set, Drain Crown even with full offensive set doesn't give much more lifesteal than what I was expected, sadly And you still have one huge downside, as you put all your recovery on auto attack, you are still weak to CC, X Speed doesn't help if you get frozen/stun/sleep, so I would suggest you to use Full Heal instead Altho, I personally don't use Drain Crown at all and use Potion instead, I don't have to rely on auto attack to be able to tank stuff anymore, this way you don't even have to respect poker as much because you can just heal up out of nowhere lmao, get people off guard everytime
My hidden Garchomp Build Moveset: dig + dragon claw. Allows for more CC and Dragon Claw slows. Dig provides added def/sdef. Emblems: 6 Brown, 6 Blue, 6 Purple. Items: Focus Band, Vest, Kings Crown, Rocky, Helm, Razor Claw, Weakness Policy or attack spd items (but I promise if you rely on Garchomps speed you’re good). I run potion, full heal, attack, eject, teating goal item to disrupt and keep pressure on ops.
Try attack weight, muscle band, scope lens Dragon Garchomp with 6 brown 6 white emblems ( I'm a Garchomp main from the time I joined unite and this is the highest damaging build which is the most consistent after scarf, muscle, scope/razor and as scarf received a nerf so attack weight helps me dominate all the games I play )
Not really? Weight is just not something you run on chomp, the attack speed from rapid is always gonna be worth more either way and if your getting a bad game then rapid still functions meanwhile weight doesn't
That Hoopa was terrible, Gardevoir couldn't hit unite moves for nothing, Blaziken kept feeding. Enemy team completely threw this match away
