What are good rolls with the smg. I have the trackless waste (new to the game) it does well depending on the map, but is it a top tier smg or just in cammycakes hands

Even if they nerf it we can all agree, it’s definitely the best SMG for the looks alone
Forcer I doubt they’ll nerf it. This is basically exactly what they wanted. A real compelling reason to use Exotic primaries.

Peyton Snyder Even more of a reason to not nerf Huckleberry. But yeah, pretty stupid move on Bungie’s part to still let it be so dominant. It’s good that it now has less of a max damage buff than Rampage, but it either needs to not buff bodyshot damage or not reproc itself. Either one of those nerfs fixes it in both aspects of the game imo

After watching your huckelberry videos a while back. I paired it with me snapshot QuickDraw beloved and soloed my way to 3k In comp. a nutty combo and I love it. Keep up the good work man.
Waiting for a "every waking moment" review, got one recently and my god I am in love with it. I use it more than I do recluse and a few people I played with who got good roles say about the same.
Mine ( I sound like a proud dad....but that's cause I am damnit) came with ricochet rounds, zen and kill clip....I love it
Guys, Hes not kidding about Huckeberry in PvE. Ive been using it since shadowkeep dropped and I feel like id be handicapping myself switching to anything else. I had a round of vex invasion where I had 310 kills. 310 KILLS. Everyone else had 100 or less. Its actually insane.

When the change to the exotic catalyst happened at the beginning of Forsaken the Huckleberry has has been a staple in my loadouts. looooooooove this freaking weapon

Dude you are so right... after watching this video yesterday I pulled huckleberry out of collections and took it into iron banner... got a 3.74 efficiency... it just wrecks... thanks for the video
It does feel really good right now it was the first weapon I played with whenever I installed the update and it was amazing
The trade-off that’s not being mentioned is we can’t apply artifact mods to exotics, which has been a major component to my loadout when playing PvE.
This. Being able to shoot through knight and hydra shields, as well as regenerating hobgoblins with a recluse + barrier rounds ON TOP of the necessity to take down nightmare barriers on endgame content makes it stay in my loadout... Also, can't pair Huck with Izanagis. It's a good gun for PvP, but I can't justify the downsides for PvE with shadowkeep's mechanics
@@mattfeldman6856 pretty much, plus you can add in the ballistic combo mod to make your recluse with anti barrier a mini-Monte Carlo
I like the info in your vids. You have a good YT persona and I enjoy listening to you. Keep the info coming. Now while I have and really like the masterworked huckleberry, I feel the current best in the game right now for pvp is the subjunctive. I feel 3 of the best new non-raid weapons come from the vex offensive. This sub, the pulse and the HC. I do prefer huckleberry for pve though, cuz sometimes it mows through crowds of enemies nonstop. Huckleberry is definitely the best looking sub though :)

i stopped using it for a while, and earlier tonight i used it for the lolz and felt the power. i've missed it and i'm in love. i'm rocking huckleberry, menagery sniper with triple tap and rapid hit, and the wendigo😍
I ran huckleberry all through shadowkeep story, didnt even consider taking it into crucible but will try it out now. Always loved this exotic.

Holy cow I really do love this gun since the update. It’s the only gun I use for a lot of stuff since I don’t have recluse.
Your aim is on point with this gun, especially at long range! I shake from side to side lol.
I finally finished this weapons catalyst. Went into the heroic whisper and murdered thralls. Took 2 goes and now I gotta say it. I am loving this weapon. My recluse is sitting in storage because of it.

Love the Huckleberry and tried using it in Crucible and the recoil for me was difficult to control. Prolly just gotta get used to it but love running and gunning hip firing with it in PvE. So much fun
The recoil on console is really hard to deal with

One good thing to say about recluse is that you can slap a mod on it like anti barrier rounds or something else
Been using Coldheart for a long time, just recently finished catalyst for Riskrunner, it's great and a fave next to Coldheart now just not against bosses, now I'll have to start catalyst for the Huckleberry I guess.
I love the huckleberry. I've got it a great build going with Huckleberry, Orewing's Maul, Liar's Handshake and top tree Arcstrider.
I love to rock Huckleberry/bad juju, loaded question and wendigo/21% delirium. Bungo made my loadout a bit un maximized since fusions are solar armor and grenade launchers are void but still a fun loadout with pleanty of coverage

It's a great weapon, but I remember the recoil being rough on Console the last time I used it.
I told my friends about this gun when Shadowkeep dropped. Is so good that I did the 150 multikills for Exit Strategy on 3 games of normal gambit.

I loved this weapon pre-patch and now it’s even more godlike
On the subject of SMGs, it may be time to look at MIDA Multi-tool + Calus Mini-tool again. It is so, so good in this new sandbox. I've been using this combo to get my scout kills and I'm in love! People do not expect the 900RPM when they rush you thinking you're using a scout. Not to mention the double speed buff from MIDA synergy. I like this combo so much in this sandbox, it may be my new loadout even after unlocking Randy's. This combo is so good at all ranges and the synergy speed buff has let me invest my mods in recovery/resilience.

I bet xur is gonna have it next week. Just got it dropped. And so far every single one of my exotic weapons dropped a week before xur for some odd reason.
You know, when I got Huckleberry as a random drop from Xur, I thought; man I'm not good with smgs this won't help me. You've just shown me just how wrong I was and how lucky I am to have it. Now I just need to learn how to properly use it in PvP and PvE.
I used to pair the huck with peacekeepers and loaded question, NEVER HAVE TO RELOAD, fire the huck until it runs dry (masterwork makes this take a long time 😁) swap to loaded question and fire that high damage shot, swap back to huck which is now fully reloaded and continue holding that trigger goes click, rinse and repeat

I just got the catalyst yesterday, but haven’t gotten all the kills required to equip the catalyst yet. I already loved huckleberry before getting the catalyst, now I’ll love it even more

Sticking with my Risk Runner. The chain lightening alone to me makes it better. And in Shadow Keep there is always something shooting arc at you. Means you almost always have the perk going. Crucible again you can either take a hit from an opposing Titan grenade or just throw one of your own at your feet and you off and running with chain lightening. And with the way people seem to like to stand on top of each other and team shoot in crucible you direct fire one while weakening a few others for easy mop up.
With Huckleberry being a good weapon now there should also be a discussion/video talking about other weapons who intrinsically got buffed with the recent updates like Thorn and such. I have to wonder if Riskrunner and other exotic smg’s are also relevant now.

I miss how it was so much more fun before Lunafaction/Well of Radiance nerf with the Huckleberry and the rate of fire maxing out and shredding bosses. I miss that sound of bullets spraying so fast. Good times.

In PVP, Hushleberry is a favorite loadout of mine.
Hush I'm the energy slot, and Huckleberry in the kinetic. Hush lets me compete with snipers, and scouts, but also does well in close range with archers Gambit, Huckleberry lets me clean up enemies in close range when I miss the hip fire headshot with hush, and reloads itself, it's ready next time I body shot someone with hush close quarters. It's fantastic. Try it out

Honestly, Huckleberry's best feature for me is the self-reload on kills.
I was using a huckleberry with a (field prep, Firing line) Dreaded Venture and man that might. me my new favorite loadout. Unfortunately I can't get Last Man Standing to drop with one two punch.
I got this weapon as a random drop last week. I just got the catalyst on io. I was gonna sleep, but nahhh😁
Incredible weapon! Been using my huckleberry with the catalyst for many months now and absolutely nothing can beat its ad clearing ability. I got bored of using it because it’s so good and nothing else could even come close to comparing so now I use worse ad clear guns just to have some diversity.
Huckleberry has been my kinetic of choice for the longest time. I've nicknamed it the "ad remover". Racked up over 15,000 kills with it! Just need that sweet skin!

Cross, can you review the Adhortative pulse rifle? I have one rolled with high-caliber rounds, ricochet rounds, feeding frenzy, rampage and masterwork range. This thing is insane.
I got one with feeding frenzy and multikill clip. It is very good.

I've been using a huckleberry loadeout pve for months and I never tire of it. Nothing like clearing out a room in the blink of an eye. I need to bring into pvp I think.
I have a small build thats had a decent amount of success. Vottom tree striker with eternal worrior exotic helmit. might be cool if you talked about it.
As a long time Huckleberry and loaded question user in pve I approve. I do struggle in PvP with it though.
One thing I do prefer recluse over huckle for is that you can put on anti barrier mods.
Aztecross I was wondering if you could take a look at winter's guile for warlocks with a 1-2 punch shotgun. Not for sure if it would be potent but just an idea.
My first play through on my titan in shadowkeep was only with huckleberry. Hives, especially thralls, are a enemy match made in heavens. I only put down huckleberry is because i got monty, and monty on a titan is another heavenly match.
All this talk about Ricochet rounds: did Seraph rounds ever have the hidden range bonus (as it's essentially the same as Ricochet)? And if it did, did they ever remove the hidden bonus? Just a thought.
I tried this gun out for the first time recently and got a 19 with an efficiency of 19. Would have been more but the match was called early. I couldn't believe how fast I was just ripping dudes down. I love it. I'm trying to decide between a MIDA/mini combo or this and a 180 shot scout in the elemental slot. Both are great. The radar and movement perks with a MIDA/mini are nice.
This dude must be playing with a K&M. Looks too stable for controller. I use controller on PC. I'll take the handicap if it means I can play and kick back. No way I could do those distance kills with it.
