@@brokens1097 So their mums death is insignificant because you want to know about taxes. Taxes pay for a nations infrastructure. Without it, you have countries like that in South America and elsewhere where the police are virtually non existent and the country is run by militias. Do you even pay taxes is what I would ask you? And if you do, so what? Move to another country if you dont like paying taxes. Most democratic countries have taxes to pay for necessary services that support law and order which in this case put two cold blooded murderers behind bars for 30 years. Taxes pay for a society that may not be perfect but is necessary.

Neither of these two murderers are going to serve even half of their sentence. One of them is due to be released in 2025, after just 11 years and the other in 2027 after 12 years. Hardly justice.

You math doesn't add up. Their time in jail before sentencing counts just the same as time served, as their time in prison after sentencing. They were arrested four months after the slaying on May 21, 2010 and were then charged with murder. So on May 21, 2025 they already served fifteen years.

I never realised the grandmother of these twins was herself in prison when she was younger so her daughter (the twins mother) was raised by the great grandmother. Did the grandmother harbor feelings of resentful toward the twins dead mother because she decided to keep them on the straight and narrow and not let them go down the path that her own mother had gone? Is that why the grandmother took the twins in after the murder and continued supporting them while in prison? Only God knows and she knows. The mom was a thot for most of their lives and tried to be a parent at the last minute, but it was too late. The twins wanted nothing to do w/her and preferred to stay at their grandma (who fought for custody); even after the court system told them they had to stay with the mom. After going back and forth to court Nikki got custody of the girls and they didn’t like it because she gave them rules and a curfew and monitored what they did which they great grandmother didn’t. When it comes to children these days, its best to leave them alone. My daughter tried to put the police on me when I tried to discipline her over a cell phone. She got an order of protection against me for a year. Our people's die in jail onna regular basis. I forgave her for what she did, but I'll never forget. Our relationship is non-existent, but I sleep good at night, knowing that I did the best I could for her. These kids nowadays care about NOTHING BUT THEMSELVES, and what somebody can do for them. I'm just glad I had just one.😢

not all kids are like that❤
Some kids can be a blessing😇
When she grows up, hopefully she will understand that you did the best you could for her❤
I’m a teenager. I would never treat my mum like that.
I make sure to help her out with the house chores because I’ve got siblings 😊🫰
These days, most children don’t know how hard their parents are working for them. And how much their mother’s almost sacrificed themselves for them

Sometimes you have to let them learn on they’re own, I have a great mother she raised us to the best of her ability and it was my own fault for doing things that got me in some deep trouble and I knew better . I would never harm my queen or even put her in a situation to go to jail. I have a 4 year old now and I couldn’t imagine him doing that. I pray our Jesus guides yall children and gives them a safe reality check and that they return back to who gave them life 🙏🏽

Many stories like this have one thing in common. Lack of discipline. Parents try to over compensate a lot ESPECIALLY if there’s a parent missing or behavioral disorder. And when the parent finally has enough and decides to put their foot down these type of kids go into a rage fit tantrum and attack their parents. People talk trash now, but many of us would never think to harm our parents over something so stupid and many of us were too afraid because we knew our parents would demolish us like strangers off the streets if we even dared raised a hand to them. These kids are manipulative I guarantee they never got physically hit a day in their life. And unfortunately, due to her upbringing Ik she was soft on them because she understood trauma. Many of us do that now and then wonder why Gen z and Gen alpha are absolute nightmares to deal with. We got loving kids getting hurt by parents and loving parents hurt by their kids. This is a crazy world.

It's funny reading all these comments acting like the mother was this innocent flower who got decapitated by 2 demons. Children don't do things like this to their parents out of nowhere. Its just like the Menendez brothers, everybody thought they were these spoiled brats, when the reality was - their millionaire father had been molesting them since they were kids, their mother knew and never had done anything about it. Same thing with Catherine & Curtis Jones (look them up), point is: There is always 2 sides to every story and I don't believe the mother is as innocent as she may have seemed.

I agree with the comments that people don’t raise their kids good anymore. I was the type of kid raised with morels and poor but appreciate everything I got. I raised my children the same but tried to give them a better life( my biggest mistake). My kids raised their kids to be self entitled. Their kids think they deserve or need to have the best of everything. That would be ok if they work for it themselves but my kids just give it to them. That’s what’s wrong with Gen Z. I worked for everything I got but thought I was being a good parent by giving my kids better then what I had. I seen videos of Christmas hauls of kids and they’re so ungrateful because they didn’t get exactly what they wanted. We need to go back to how I was raised being thankful just to have a meal or warm home. All these kids are rotten there are a few exceptions. Some people are poor and can’t give their kids everything but love. Growing up I was poor but had a beautiful childhood and care for all my brothers. Good luck to parents now days.

I don't honestly know if I would open the door, at least not without checking, but I know (bc i have Vivint) that I'd at minimum check the cameras and call 911. Though when I think about it I bet it'd still be too late unless theyre stationed close by. Idk how much time passed between her getting to the door and being dragged back.
So...cameras, 911, maybe turn on a car alarm and more lights to see if that makes them second guess? (Unlsss it backfires and makes them work faster).
Damn. I said yikes for the lack of effort but now I don't know if I could prevent Nikki from dying either. (I think hearing screaming and your doorbell should innately do something to you though. Who knows. Maybe he froze in terror until it stopped. (...but you would call 911 as soon as it stopped). How close are the other neighbors?
