I still think that the adapter should have a male usb-c connector as then you could plug the little adapter into the new iPads, and then plug in the 1st gen apple pencil as then it still kind of retains the same design that they originally made to charge the 1st gen pencil. Sticking out of the bottom of the iPad.
They didn’t do that bc then you could use the Apple Pencil 1 with any iPad including the more expensive Air and Pros, and less people would buy the more expensive Pencil 2. Apple has carefully crafted this iPad to be the worst iPad ever in order to upswell people to the Air or Pros

The whole iPad lineup looks cohesive altogether. There are brand new features and designs that we simply couldn’t wait for Justine to explain more in-depth. Seems like Apple is constantly bombarding customers with devices that are just hard to ignore.

Trust me I’ve owned a white-bezeled ipad when they used to make those and like it looks so distracting when you’re watching a movie or just taking pictures. But if you don’t do those things then it’s good and looks pretty
2022 lineup: classic iPad 9, iPad Scraps, iPad Mini, iPad Air, iPad Pro, iPad Pro Max. It’s nice to have choice but this is the opposite of Apple and now you really need those buying guides. At this point I don’t know if I want to see their dual display iBook tablet. You should only be asked three things at the store - “What size are you interested in? How much storage you want to have? Which color or do you need a pencil?”. Even cellular variant should be offered only in the basic model to keep the cost down and simplify their production because every other model should already have that inside at a price of $500. That’s the main thing tablets offer (i.e. bigger mobility and touch screen) when compared to laptops, tablets are just lighter and more versatile.

the new iPad is a massive tech and color update…but i miss GPS and continuity Camera on them ! For my personal iPad i need at least a fast 4 Terabyte NVMe Drive near it…could you test NVMe Enclosures with fast Transfer speeds using the iPad Pros thunderbolt connection !
The reason they didn’t do the landscape camera on the pro is that that prevents them from adding the pencil connection but I feel like they could have put magnets to hold the pencil where the webcam goes and the charging bit on the top for the 13 inch and a message that you lose sterio audio when charging while it would be weird it’s less weird than the iPad 10 pencil wierdness
I think needs to eliminate an 11” ipad. Maybe they get rid of the 11” iPad Pro. So the line up is 12.9 iPad Pro , iPad Air(M chip), 10th gen ipad, iPad mini
I was looking forward to upgrading my basic model to this newer version but that cost is not entry level. Especially when 64 gigs is not going to cut it.
