I was there two days ago :) had to wait 5 hours for my flight to Zurich. I took lots of pictures, Singapore Airport is without a doubt the best airport in the world.

My God! This is not a airport - this is a piece of paradise. Airport is meant to give you stress; instead, this is a destination for de-stressing, a tourist attraction in it's own right. Wow! Thank you Singapore for showing the world these things are possible.
I ve worked in Singapore for 6.5 years before I settled in the US.
During those time Changi Airport consistently received awards of the best Airport in the world. I bet it still getting awards presently.

Set an alarm before you decide to look around even for few seconds, there's a good chance you could miss your flight.
It is good that some things are made just for....the sake of beauty. Nature is wonderful, and Changi Airport's Jewel makes us realise that one more time.
It's so massive with shops and sights that it's easy to forget that it is an airport, what a sight for people to Singapore for the first time! 😍

@@melyncorpuz1266 Pssssst, it don't have to expensive at Changi Airport or Jewel as far as filling your stomach is concerned. Allow me to let you in on a not very well known secret. Both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 has an airport staff canteen. Just ask any airport staff in uniform and they will point you to the right direction. And the public is welcome to patronize the stalls. Its the common hawker center style food and prices to boot. You can have a full meal (plate of rice with 2-3 dishes) for about SGD$5 (US$3.65).
And the notion that Singapore is expensive is both Yes and No. It depends on a tourist's taste and budget. If a tourist "live" like a local - dine at hawker centers, commute on public buses and trains, and stays in budget accomodation, then he can save a bundle. However if he chooses to dine in Michelin star restaurants, drink in pubs, takes a taxi everywhere he goes and stays in 5-star hotels, then Singapore is Very expensive. The movie "Crazy Rich Asians" have made it seem that Singapore is affordable to only the wealthiest people in the world. A man made Paradise...
I remember when I was still living in Singapore, me and my mom used to take the bus to visit Changi Airport all the time during the late 2000s when Terminal 3 was still new, we usually just ate there, explored and shopped around. I live in Canada now and it's crazy to see how much the airport and Singapore in general has changed.
Visited my son who is living there. Fell in love with the country. Beautiful place and people.
The airport is like a resort.. no need to go anywhere else, it has amusements, parks, trams, supermarkets, restaurants, easily spend a few days exploring. Great upload, 🙏🙏

WOW!! OMG!!! WOW!!! That is the most stunning place. I love gardening. So...it was nice to see all the flowers and foliage. The orchids, ferns, flowers, topiary and trees were so beautiful. I have to admit though...when you were on the top floor, you held the camera out....I scooched back in my chair and grabbed the arm rest...lol. The waterfall at night was so pretty and they put on a light show. I'd never want to leave. Just lovely🌸🌷🍹

What an amazing airport/botanical garden! As a plant lover, I could wander it for hours. I'm glad you took Satoshi there, Shinichi--I'm sure he loved it! My favorite displays were the Phalaenopsis orchid peacock and topiaries. Simply stunning. Thank you for the tour.

Munnar is such a magnificent place, from the photos I've seen--green, mountainous, and with a lovely, cool climate. I bet Shinichi and Satoshi would love to see the area on one of their future trips to India.

U are right me went to Japan Tokyo in June school holiday this yr n visited their Botanic Garden very big n full of nature beauty but we never have time to go to our own country Botanic Garden.

@@YouVerseUSA Speaking as a Singaporean, Jewel is pretty damn useless. Might as well go to all the other terminals or Gardens by the Bay (a similar indoor garden attraction).

Last year (2018) there were 65.6 million passenger movements at Changi Airport, and a Big number of these were passengers on long transit times. Many of these are expected to patronize the over 280 F&B outlets and retail shops, Changi Lounge or stay a few hours at the 130-cabin YotelAir hotel.
In 2015 Changi Airport ranked 3rd worldwide in traveller spending with takings of over SGD$2 billion www.straitstimes.com/singapore/changi-ranks-3rd-in-traveller-spending And now with the addition of JEWEL this $2 billion spend amount is expected to be easily surpassed.

The best airport seen in my travel life. I ve been to Singapore last year September. It was a awesome trip during Eid holiday. I spared extra 4 hours only for Changi airport tour on the day of my return.
