I'm from Brazil🇧🇷 i'vee been learning speak italian linguage over last year watching video on TH-cam all day, for hours, during my dead shift at work. Portuguese is very simular to the italian linguage 😊
Your resources are helpful. You speak clearly and perfectly. Italian is a fun language. Learning other languages is fun. I want to learn more languages so i can think like them and see the world like they do. It will be a fun experience. Italians used to be our masters. By learning their language, i can learn my history and be friends with the children of our masters. I wish you successful 100 days.
Hello everyone and a special greeting to you, dear Conner... Happy 2025 and Best wishes for your podcast! I got to know your work about six months ago and since then I have never stopped listening to you... In my opinion, you have created a terrific tool for learning and understanding of spoken English naturally. Personally, I find it easier to understand US English than British English, although as a European, I am clearly inclined to learn British English... I really like your approach, your humility, your awareness and the desire to always learn and improve yourself... As an Italian, I am happy that you also want to know our language. If I can give you a piece of advice (and what I am going to say seems to me to be true for any language to be learned), listen and use only material produced by native speakers, because ours is a very easy language... to be learned badly. Unfortunately, the web is filling up with people who think they can teach Italian and transmit error after error, both in pronunciation and grammar and syntax. As you already know, Italian is read as it is written, it uses only 21 letters (those used by classical Latin) and each of them has only one sound, both at the beginning and in the body or end of a word, but precisely for this reason, that sound must be pronounced precisely. Choose someone who does not have strong regional inflections, because standard Italian is the most beautiful, while we have more than a hundred dialects with strong phonetic deformations and their own vocabulary. The grammar, as in all Romance languages, (Italian, French, Spanish, Romanian, Portuguese...) is complex and, on a colloquial level, we use idiomatic phrases practically continuously and false friends are countless. On the other hand, however, we do not have the interrogative form😆 and to ask a question, we rely mainly on the inflection of the voice. Above all, don't give too much to the usual clichés...By providing linguistic support to foreigners who have arrived in my country, I can guarantee that the difficulties encountered by Spanish speakers are often high, as are those experienced by Ukrainian, Indian or Middle Eastern students, because Spanish and Portuguese are, it is true, related languages, but they are to Italian what Dutch could be to English, or Hungarian to Russian.
Hey there! And I'm learning English! And seem to be pretty good at it:) I also love the sound of Italian but it's hard for me to read this language. That's why I learn Spanish as a second language. It's easier to read in Spanish. And I easily master the language by reading. You'll probably start learning Chinese someday.....All lovers of foreign languages end up like this:) I'm happy for you!

I Think I'm stuck in the Intermediate level, I understand everything you said but I can't Speak English.
“this is my first real exposure to the language” - meaning?
This means that it's the first time I've had any experience with the language.
Hello, teacher, thank you for these materials, I'm from Ukraine and now listen it. So tell me about the level of these materials, is it B1?
