Tamil Nadu has directors, actors, music directors and different technicians from different parts of the society (upper class and lower class) and that is why we have this kind of varieties of movies where they portray the life of rural people so nicely which we have not even heard of. Rural life of India is very different than urban life. Because of the rural people education and development for the past 30/40 years, now we are gifted to see this kind of rural rustic reality movies. This movie is based on real incident in 80's and that is why the background set of the movie is like 80's.

Tamil Nadu has directors, actors, music directors and different technicians from different parts of the society (upper class and lower class) and that is why we have this kind of varieties of movies where they portray the life of rural people so nicely which we have not even heard of. Rural life of India is very different than urban life. Because of the rural people education and development for the past 30/40 years, now we are gifted to see this kind of rural rustic reality movies. This movie is based on real incident in 80's and that is why the background set of the movie is like 80's.

This movie is against casteism. So obviously the rascals who believe in caste had denied the award.
Because the movie released on 4 October 2019. Award distribution for this year's movies was due on 3may 2020 but were postponed due to pandemic. If award distribution were to be held it will definitely be a winner.
