It's nice to see that, "NOT ONE SINGLE REPLY FROM TRIUMPH", to peoples question has been posted by Triumph, since this was posted on the 16th of September 2020. Can't beat that level of customer service.
I got the Bluetooth module fitted on my new Triumph Street Triple RS a couple of months ago. One update on the app I'd like to see is the ability to plan a ride, save it and then use it at a later date.
I would like the ability to be able to store a certain amount of routes to the bike itself, and have them there ready and be able to navigate to them in the menus so im not faffing with the phone all the time. Either that or ability to choose destination from the bike Plus a map would be nice.
Yes, you can very clumsily create a route while sitting on your bike ready to go. Now tell everyone that even years later they can't save route, and if they stop for quick break not to stop the navigation or they will loose their route.
I don't have connection between my Tiger 900 Rally Pro and my Samsung Galaxy S10+, and I don't have a solution from my dealer. I'm from Chile, and I'm very dissapointing with the blueetooh of the bike.
works but is completely pointless for navigation, Integration with Waze - GPS, Maps, Traffic Alerts & Live Navigation -- for police reports makes sense to me.
I thought i was just another unlucky Tiger owner that could not get the Navigation to work. Here's what i did to finally make it work: make sure to pair your phone with the tiger beforehand via bluetooth (no app required i think) uncheck every battery optimization options, make your phone run on "normal" mode. Not power mode. Not battery save mode. Step 1: Turn on the motorcycle Step 2: activate bluetooth on your iphone - see if there is any notification going on on Step 3: check your display settings on the tiger - go to the settings where you can choose what specific elements or functions you would like to display - select navigation far down below - hit home. Step 4: open the app on your phone and wait until you get a notification. It says something along the lines of "connect to triumph tiger?" - hit yes or tap on the notification itself if it doesnt connect automatically Step 5: set your destination, click start, lock your phone, put it away Step 6: cycle the display until you hit GPS (no matter the style you choose) after so many tries i just forgot to let the tiger display the actual GPS in the menu. It was turned off (somehow)... This made the real difference. Otherwise it wouldnt appear on my TFT screen.
Brand new Tiger 900 Rally Pro,No Nav connectivity between the App MY TRIUMPH and the motorcycles for IPhone and Android mobiles , Some owners has reported that for them is working Ok the Navigation, Please, Can you advise with mobile Brands and models you are using ?
i have a samsung s8 phone which i connected to my 900 gt pro in about ten minutes so i now have music and navigation which is bluetoothed to my freedcom unit on my helmet cant fault it
I have read that this system sucks. Triumph, have you fixed the problems for the new 2023/2024 765 RS? I hope so because I’m planning to buy one … unless the issues persist.
@@gabrielrosenbaum5333 just take a look at my comment and follow all the steps i made. Shouldnt be hard to find. Most important step is, to turn on the GPS itself in the display settings of your TFT Monitor.
Can you please tell me if the navigation system can be used when the cellphone has no Internet? I do a lot of cross border traveling and I don't have connectivity while riding much of the time. From the video it looks like this system leverages Google Maps so is Internet connectivity required? I hope you can tell me it works offline as well. If so, how are maps loaded and can routes still be created on the app?
@@nomaddave Thanks for your testing and reply. It's sad to hear, that Triumph is doing a bad job with that system, although it could have been such a big plus. Nontheless thanks and have a good and safety ride.
It’s a nightmare. It’s failed so many times. Sometimes it shows downloading navigation after following prompts when setting up, only to keep failing then says start all over……no had enough! Calimoto now from phone to headset . Far easier. 7 months old Tiger 900 GT. All apps current.
@@Maeddn11 Nope. This is the biggest failing that manufacturers seem to stumble over - same for Honda (Car Play) and Ducati (Sygic). The only one being developed by 'actual touring riders' seems to be BMW (Connected). The developers think we're car drivers and just want to ride directly from point A to B. If we did, we wouldn't use the manufacturer's navigations at all, we'd just use Waze on a quad-lock anti-vibration dampening mount instead wouldn't we?
è ancora in italiano (ovviamente scrivo dall'Italia). Speriamo che gli "sviluppatori" che collaborano con Triumph per queste cose.....risolvano.
Leider kann das hier gezeigten Navi System nicht mit dem von BMW mithalten. Also muss ich doch wieder eine GS kaufen. Schade! Kaufe entscheidend.
Feel triumph has lost an opportunity here. Others can have a Nav screen option to aid situation awareness as well as look ahead for bends in he road etc, but turn by turn Nav is like DOS ON AN IPHONE. Might need a Tom Tom mount
I was promised this for my 2 tiger 800's I purchased 2 years ago and as of today, it's still not available and still shows as coming, super disappointed that Triumph is just dragging their feet on this promised Bluetooth update for the tiger 800 TFT 2017-2018 models. Super not impressed. Does not take almost 3 years to get this out. What's the holdup.?

When it will be avaliable on older Street Triple RSmodels (2018)?

How stable/reliable is the turn-by-turn navigation/GPS for SEA countries (Thailand/Malaysia/Singapore) ?
Since it uses Google maps, it should be fine. Albeit it doesn't have the full search functionality of Google maps. Anyway, download the app yourself.
@officialtriumphmotorcycles connectivity system for 1200 xca tiger?????? One year still waiting 🤔

Is this app supported on all the 900 range or only the Pro one?

The navigation really is not very good.
Just buy a Beeline moto instead.
