Firecracker is played by Valorie Curry who was also Kara from Detroit: Become Human which is wild. Thats what we call range and for those who haven’t seen it I recommend watching roshi and sheera’s play through of detroit its funny AF.
Sheera just laughing while Roshi and Lupa were in complete disbelief was fucking hilarious. I need to be like her, I need to prepare my brain for some crazy shit cause, it’s The Boys ffs 😂

I LOVE that he got to do this, after having to be mute for a bunch of seasons. And since it was a different actor in flashbacks, he can go unmasked as TECHNICALLY A DIFFERENT NOIR. It's also a hilarious schtick.
14:48 It's always funny how when Frenchie is lost for words, he says it's okay. Love sausage wrapping his sausage around MM's neck, walking in on termite, Victoria's kid last episode, and now this. Kimiko giving the this up made this even funnier.
I mean, he's also incredibly open-minded. He really is saying that whatever is going on is truly okay by him. Remember his line suggesting transgender strippers for MM's bachelor party? 😂
Plus his relationship with Kimiko was established by the end of last season as being pretty platonic. Do people who are angry about this subplot actually remember the show??
I'm pretty sure most people are just annoyed that, like other characters, his subplot either doesn't make much sense or is completely boring. S1 made it clear that Frenchie was up for anything, so this isn't a surprise to anyone. Most people aren't even saying he's "suddenly gay", that's just what people like to repeat to deflect against people shitting on Frenchie's subplot. Do we really need another repeat of S3, where Frenchie's entire role is just being sad about his past, even though he owns it enough to tell Huey about his first kill in S1? It's kind of like how Frenchie was randomly intimidated into standing up to Butcher in S3, even though he was ready to kill Butcher during his introduction in the first season. They keep pulling his character back every season. Why would Frenchie, after all we saw of him in S1-S2, be so afraid to hook up with this guy?
@@ndt7379 Just my personal read, but I feel like that is somewhat the point. Frenchie has an arc that acts as a mirror to Huey and (arguably) MM. He goes from being perfectly chill about killing and his past of doing such, but as seasons go on, Kimiko "weakens" his resolve. Him and Kimiko seem to have dual themes of "confronting the past" and "the past does not define us" respectively. Again, just a personal reading, but, intentional or not, I still find it interesting.
@@trenedyallen3578 It honestly feels more like the writers have no idea how to end the story or what to do with anyone who isn't Butcher and Homelander. They completely dropped the ball with how they wrote Homelander into a corner in S3, only for everyone to not kill him when they had the chance.
