    You are so right. I am closing in on 30 years as a Respiratory Therapist and felt I could no longer work in ER and emergent situations due to burn out. I chose to move to PFT lab and it was the best move, I continue to care about the well being of my patients and I am able to do so in a safe manor for them and myself.

    As a student we focus on one patient at a time. But I understand when there is high workloads, experienced working RTs do multiple at the same time. Do you do concurrent therapy? If so, how many do you manage at a time?
