I agree with all your points haha. Subbed!
Theres actually a trick to use timelapse option to take single frames for photography. This was my first camera and I found myself needing to take pictures so just went with it until I could afford a hybrid
Thanks for subscribing!)
Yeah, timelapse is another way, but since it's not good in low light, shutter was mostly pretty open on it so I'd shoot 24 fps hoping I'd get at least one clean frame without motion blur haha
i just upscale to 4k looks great.
The image is beautiful but there is one unpleasant circumstance. 9 out of 10 used bmpc og cameras have critical malfunctions, including due to overheating. This unfortunately also applies to bmcc 2.5k. You can only buy new ones in a box. I was lucky to find a new, never used camera.
Guess I got lucky. I got mine used and dirt cheap, and never had any issues with it. I recorded a 1,5 hour interview with it, it got pretty hot, true, but nothing burned. It also depends, if you shoot long form content at all, because for anything other than interviews, weddings and maybe some events, you don't need to record for longer than a few minutes tops.
But it's cool that you got to find one new, that's rare.
Thanks for watching)
I´ve shot hours and days and it never overheated. And i live in the tropics.
Whats the camera behind you in the dark..? Looks like a rigged out Komodo 👀
Did you sell your BMPCC Can I purchase it from you? Let me know, thanks.
Haha we have the exact same cameras! Og, 4k, S5 😅
Under 500? Prices are showing more than 1000 🤔 am I missing something g?
YOU DITCHED YOUR POCKET FOR A LUMIX ... AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
no in all seriousness, if you are more of a video-creator, and less in to cinema, get the lumix cam.
Em... Define "cinema"?
I ditched a cheap camera, with lack of features and ergonomics, that's collecting dust on a shelf for a camera I'm actually using everyday.
Furthermore, I still have pocket 4K for "cinema", which I keep for clients with your mentality, who need a word "cinema" in a camera's name so it appears more "cinematic" to them.
Moreover, when I need, I tell my clients to rent me Arri or Red, if they want even more "cinema" quality.
AND if you were "in to cinema", you'd know that there's so much more to "cinematic" image than just a camera.
I´ve shot and entire feature film on the GH4 and the a6300 and people ask me if they were shot on Arri or RED Lol.
By 1 minute and 16 seconds I heard you say I don't know twice. That's not what I wanted to hear.
Give the lad a break. Judging from your nickname I can see why you truly are “a master of none”. Go and create something instead of trolling people.
@@CINENIMUS Feedback isn't trolling. If you take criticism constructively, you may find you make better videos sooner. I'm genuinely interested in your topic. Had you either left the things you don't know out, or taken the time to research them, your video would be better. I also suggest you lay off personal insults in your replies. You might consider how mature you'd be to thank people who take their time and try to help you.
Just Bla,Bla,Bla no good test.???
why the pic is so dark, we can't even see you. Why you dont put some light?
Because I wanted so. You're free to do whatever you want on your own channel
@@Jailoyal1 right? Idk, maybe on some old TFT screen with 200 nits of brightness it might look a bit dark, but even then...
Anyway, thanks for watching!)
It's just because the background isn't lit, but he's well exposed.
@@JoseMiguelSerrano-v6c that was the intention haha
My room doesn't look that cool and since I rent the apartment, I can't really make any changes, so it's much better if I just make it low key, though as you said, expose myself correctly. So until I find a better "home studio" solution, I'm gonna use this style🎥

Excellent review! 👏🏻 Even after a decade, the BMPCC-Og camera still has plenty to offer. Trust me 😉
Thank you!
That's true, it's great, especially considering the price. I got mine 5 years ago for less than 300 bucks, and sold it for 450, because they went up in price because of hype. Guess they'll only get even more expensive. Really didn't wanna sell it, but I'm upgrading my gear and since OG was mostly collecting dust on a shelf, I thought that I could use some money and it's better off with someone who will actually use it.
They HAVE TO get back to manufacturing it! Definitely!
