Hi! Vet tech here 😊 Just a little precision I think you forgot to mention that you need a prescription from a vet in order to get Ivermectin (I work in Canada and here you have to have a prescription from a vet). Also, just a precision regarding the antibiotic creams/ointments; you have to be extremely careful when using antibiotics on guinea pigs/rabbits etc since their digestive flora is very sensitive! Giving a cat/dog or any other type of non-prescribed antibiotic to a guinea pig could kill him. I know some people like to cheap out and just give whatever from the pharmacy to avoid medical bills but in the case of guinea pig, it often does more harm than good! 🐹🐰
Once i get a chance i've been meaning to buy a scale for my piggies - I have 3 girls and I just want to be able to weigh them and make sure they're at a healthy weight - I also thought it was really funny how you talked about your piggies weighing 1200 grams as a huge amount - my old piggie (she passed last Christmas) was a Cuy and at one point she weighed 6 or 7 pounds and she averaged at about 5 - she was enormous (not because she was unhealthy but Cuys are guinea pigs normally bred for food so they're HUGE) and its so strange now after having had her for 5 years to hold my regular 1-2 pound piggies they're so small!!! Anyways thank you for this video!! I'm gonna do a health check for my piggies soon!
i never knew those existed! i just looked them up and realized that they can be like the size of a full grown rabbit or even a ferret! i would love to own one lol
can you make a video on how to trim nails on a pig that does not like nail trim at all. i have to pigs and both don't like nail trim and very time is so hard and difficult and I get bitten because I know I am doing it wrong but I have tried so many different ways but they always bite and it takes ages on and of with treats and cuddles than nail trimming on one foot than treats and cuddles. it can take several hours and I need some help because I don't want to stress them out or hurt them. and some tips om how I know where to cut om a pig that have black nails
your boar cleaning looks different that what I've seen Saskia do where she has to empty the poop pouch thing, is this not needed monthly? I've been avoiding getting males specifically because of that lol

Yeh I’ve notice my teddy having lots of earwax and I’ve only been able to aloud to clean them (I didn’t have supplies as I’m a kid) so yeh
