lol honestly being an artist has been hell over the last 10 years. feels like everybody is out to get you now. paypal, platforms like youtube, AI techbros that wanna steal your work, literally everything is against us today.
I only recently found your channel, and I'm not on TH-cam much (causing me to not be able to watch too many of your videos), but it's clear how much hard work you put in. I'm an artist as well, and even doing a single drawing for a quick, roughly drawn storyboard takes A LOT of effort and time, even if you're a speed artist like me. You've done so many videos that clearly took a lot of time and effort, and you DESERVE your hard-earned money. Not to mention that, with all those layers and all those drawings, it must take a lot of patience to deal with the inevitable lag XD (a problem I deal with). Granted, I use ibisPaint, which I'm pretty sure isn't as good as Procreate, but you have A LOT of art. Really hope you get your monetization back and compensation!!
(Not to mention it takes hard work to decide what the characters are doing for most PMVs and such. Sometimes it falls into place, but oftentimes you have to work to make sure it doesn't get repetitive. I haven't finished any AMVs or PMVs myself, but I'm working on one and I've written scripts for many, none of which have seen the light of day, lol)
Very convenient timing for TH-cam - so disappointed in them. And the appeals process is absolutely ludicrous. They are definitely trying to make it very difficult to appeal apparently in hopes people will just give up. I say fight them!!!
I’m new to your channel and I’m so sorry that happened! Also as a duel-credit student who also makes TH-cam videos, props to you for balancing school and TH-cam. I hope you get back your monetization!
I did animations for a year on TH-cam (deleted the channel a couple of years ago) and it was so hard and my stuff was way simpler than yours. I drew each easy sheet in MS paint than put each sheet together in a video maker like super old school animation. It took forever. I can't imagine your way better stuff and how much more work and time it takes. A lot of times animators like you seem to have way harder time with TH-cam, like TH-cam hates animators.
man thats terrible! you’ve clearly put in your dedication and time into your work and yet youtube still denies your appeal. i hope things get better for you and your work gets recognised instead of ignored despite the clear evidence for your work.
