Waiting for that one to come in the mail from Mondo! I'm doing Halloween 4 this Friday, Season of the Witch the following, and then Halloween 2 after that. I'm hoping to have my copy of Halloween 2018 so I can upload that on the 31st

One thing I loved in this score was the strange radiator sounds, like the sound of pipes heading up. The *bululung, bululung, bululung* sounds are very creepy. Howarth tried a similar thing for Halloween 6 with what sounded like gas canisters leaking or hissing, but it didn't work. I was less impressed with how OUT OF SYNC the drums get on the opening track!
In fact, when the main Halloween theme first kicks in (where Michael is floating down river in the movie) the backing track behind the theme is weird plinky plonky nonsense with off key synths. I don't know what Howarth was smoking when he made this.
IMO definitely the closest Halloween ever got to being “Halloween” again in terms of score. kept to the original tone, while changing it up a bit, and refraining from being too synth driven like H2.
All lps I’ve ever owned have a bevel to them, that’s how they’re supposed to look when on the turntable. Or at least that’s how they appear when playing.
@@robertpreston2220 Halloween 4 was really the last Halloween film I enjoyed after that it went downhill for me. I really didn’t get back into the franchise (I did watch the other movies like 6 and others) until Halloween (2018) and the H40 timeline. After Halloween 4 the only films I “enjoyed” were H20 and Halloween (2007) up until Halloween (2018) and Halloween Kills.
I miss the original Shape of those earlier films. Seems he has become silly since the erboots of h20 and remakes of rob and omg dont even get me started on this trilogy of crap!
From what I remember, Alan Howarth wasn't the one who did the cop theme, which explains why it is in none of the releases of Halloween 5's Score since it only includes Howarth's music. It think it was just stock music that was inserted into the film.

Working on computer homework and found this channel sometimes I really get into this stuff and end up scary myself and I’m 45. Sad I know.
Not at all. It's effective music to listen to during this Fall and spooky school season. Best of luck in school.

Any chance you can reupload the OST? The download link is down.
Excellent ! I have too the box !
I see you have the same problem as me, the LP is slightly curled ...
What do you mean 'curled'?
@@IntheGrooveSoundtracks wrapped (slightly)
@@criminologue It may give that illusion in the video, but I can assure you it's not actually warped (thankfully)
@Francois
You know, if you received a warped record, Mondo will (and must) replace it for you.

Back when the franchise was still good!
@Emily Coleman everything after part 6 is trash no doubt

Poor film, great soundtrack!!
Great soundtrack 0/20 halloween 4 20/20
Just what I was going to say. Great music bad movie
It was an OUTSTANDING movie, in large part because of the musical score.
Im searching the ridiculous cops theme... here neither

@@DaikaijuX not true, Alan Howorth has gone on to speak about writing the goofy cops theme and making questionable musical decisions.
